hey guys welcome back to my channel I'm Sonia and today's video is going to be another food haul and I'm really excited about this because a lot of you guys actually really enjoy these videos and have been requesting them in the comments section of my previous videos so here is another one and I'm also going to be sharing some tips tricks and also money-saving strategy before going to the market I know it sounds like really technical and really serious but it's not it's really easy and all I'm gonna do is share the ways that I'm saving money and the way that I am really getting full use of everything that I buy at the market so it's really helpful I learned a lot of things from girlfriends my mom or on Pinterest believe it or not and so yeah I cannot wait to get into this video but before we do that don't forget to like share and also subscribe to this channel if you have not already and let's get started okay so before we get into the video I'm going to share a few of my tips and tricks it's definitely more than just couponing because some stores you can't coupon so what I suggest doing is downloading some apps that are gonna help you either make some lists and really utilize everything that you already have in your refrigerator or in your pantry and make meals going off of that so all you'll need to do is buy rice or all you need to do is buy the meat for the protis you already have in your refrigerator so it's really really handy to write it out map it out kind of meal plan before going to the grocery store now I did this in my last grocery run so instead of having like four or five bags I only had two bags of groceries which is like unheard of for me now this video is not sponsored I'm just telling you one woman to another one mom to another this is like the best thing ever also depending on the stores that you guys go to you might have coupons either online or in mailers that come you know in the mail or you can also download apps for that particular grocery store but today I did go to Trader Joe's and unfortunately there's not you know a ton you can do as far as coupon cutting and things like that but I feel that following them on Instagram and following their fan pages on Instagram has really helped me to discover new items and then also see what's on sale so I can hurry up and go and take advantage of those cool cut downs I know places like bonds they actually keep track of the items that you purchase and if you are a repeat offender which I feel like all of us are all like creatures of habit and buy a lot of the same things over and over again they will actually send you notifications or emails through the app or through your email and give you coupons on the things that you already buy thanks to using a Club Card which also saves you money for Trader Joe's I had to implement the whole meal planning situation so I know this haul is gonna be super duper random but I promise I'm actually making meals so if you guys would like to see like what my family eats in a day I can definitely do that for you guys so the first thing I'm gonna talk about are the things that I bought that are frozen which is not very much because I don't like to buy too much frozen food but you know gotta live especially as working moms who are super busy there are really good options for frozen food so there is no judgment here and if anybody wants to judge take it so wrap so the first thing that I always buy at Trader Joe's that have to be rice these cook in about 3 minutes and they're super affordable and but I love this jasmine rice Jude loves this jasmine rice and it goes with every dish you can think of especially this chicken teriyaki this mandarin orange chicken they actually sell these to come items the same brand and everything after Vaughan's and i think it's about 4 dollars more expensive can you imagine that I know it's kind of shocking when I find something at Trader Joe's that's less expensive there than it is at Vons or Albertsons because I feel like a lot of people have it in their head that everything at Trader Joe's is so expensive but if you shop right I'm telling you it can be affordable and the last frozen item that I bought was these multigrain toaster waffles so their frozen waffle and I just pop them into the toaster chop them up in Jerusalem with a light you know syrup or what have you and I think that's syrup like I think I got this at Trader Joe's as well so this is the maple syrup that I got I hate people syrup this smell seriously grosses me out and then also when I'm making a salad I cut things up and instead of you know if you're only using a part of your onion you're not gonna throw it away you're gonna want to keep it so what I do is I make your goal kind of like salad kits so here's like some greens I also have a half of onion a quarter of a pair and a lime and this will help me create a salad in like two minutes next up we have some pork chops and another money-saving tips is to actually pick them up and sift through them I've also taught this trick to Jude so he rummages through them as well now when you're buying meat you want to pay attention to a couple of things number one the price obviously because they do market by price over at Trader Joe's and this one in particular is eight dollars in one sense but there were some there were fourteen dollars for three pieces so this is three pieces that only eight dollars and then you're also going to pay attention to the date that it's suggested to buy now I like to go to the back of like the stack of meat and grab those because the ones in the back are the ones that are the freshest so you're gonna grab those those ones are going to expire in like a week not in like a day so you'll make sure you pay attention to that now I also got some strawberries Cato friendly not keto friendly but Sonia friendly is my favorite fruit ever next to go I have US but I never see them unless they're at a farmers market and some fresh sliced mangoes Jude picked these little mini heirloom tomatoes he loves these and who seriously could not wait to eat them on the way home like hey they're not great he's eating on my grapes speaking of grapes I also got this medley of seedless grapes so you have like the dark almost black grapes the green ones and then also some purple yeah my mouth is literally watering from the mango so good I also got Calloway caviar which is my favorite salsa I also got the candied walnuts which is going to be amazing on any like beet salad Paris salad strawberry salad oh good you guys um also I got this little package of olives which I'm gonna tear up after I'm finished filming this I also got some organic fat-free milk this is the boys favorite I can drink milk cuz I will explode I got some butter lettuce which I usually buy like butter lettuce that's living on the root still because I feel like it's still crispy and still got some life in there um but I'm gonna tear it up so doesn't matter so here's a bag of butter lesson is only like a dollar ninety-nine really good price because the living butter lettuce is like six or seven dollars I also got some 100% cranberry juice this stuff is so strong you guys we had a little sip and we had to dilute it so much like I feel like I will have to get like maybe halfway and then fill the rest of it with water and shake it up because it's so so strong knife definitely recommend using the hunt percent cranberry juice and not the cocktail juice because it's literally just a whole jar sugar I also got a Persian cucumber I got this bell pepper which is gonna go amazing in pasta or salad I got some line because this is the main ingredient in all of my fellow dressings I got a dab of organic thrown brown blue corn tortilla chips to go with my cowboy caviar so good you guys and lastly I got some chocolate coz Jude was harassing me about it so this is just there Trader Joe's crispy rice milk chocolate and that's it hopefully you guys enjoy this video I know I did I love seeing food halls and if you guys have a channel let me know in the comments down below as well maybe if you guys have some time you can check out those channels and I would love to support other people who are here on YouTube my friend Christine also does food haul so check out her link in the description box down below if you guys are on Weight Watchers or just looking for some new items to add to grocery list sharing is caring so I love you guys so much thank you so much for watching and I can't wait to see you guys in the next one hi

hey guys today I'm going to share with you some tricks to save money at the grocery store I know all of you love my budget haul videos so I thought that you would appreciate knowing my secrets to saving money at the grocery store let's start with number one eat in season right now it's summertime and berries nectarines grape tomatoes yummy vegetables and fruits are in season right now and for that reason they are cheaper at the grocery store I also find that they taste better when you're actually eating them when their season appropriate number two coupons I'm not really into clipping out my own coupons but you do have the option to go onto coupons calm red plum calm there's a few other websites where you can actually go on and print out coupons for foods that you are already buying at the grocery store you can also go on to your favorite brands Facebook pages and sometimes they have coupons for you to print out there too 3 make a list duh but don't just make a list meal prep and create a menu if you do this you're going to know how much you need of each item so that when you go to the store you can get enough so that you don't have to do midweek trips that often include impulse buys so create a list create a meal plan and get after it number 4 don't shop hungry if you're like me and you shop hunger you buy everything the store everything looks good so before you go to the store eat a meal have a nice lunch have a nice breakfast and then go shopping before dinner there's always a million people there especially on Monday and Tuesday's and you end up buying way more than you need so eat a meal before you go don't shop hungry number five go generic some of my favorite foods to buy like Oh cereals frozen vegetables by buying the generic version you're really not sacrificing any taste or quality you're just going to save money so don't be afraid to buy generic number six is something I do I shop around I know what stores have the best prices so when I need to do some staple shopping I'll go to Aldi because I know that they are the cheapest there four other things I like to go to Trader Joe's for some of my sauces in different condiments and frozen vegetables and then there's hopefully taupe it's actually has some great deals on things but also same with Target Sean's stop and shop we all have different grocery stores and I liked shop around to get the best deals possible which brings me to number seven use your iPhone when you go shopping I love this new app called grocery pal you enter in your zip code and then it lets you know what the sales are at the stores near you so if you know you love to eat Greek yogurt you can go and see what store has Greek yogurt on sale that week it also will let you know if there are $1 great tomatoes when Aldi has this week near me $1 for grape tomatoes I wouldn't have known that if I hadn't downloaded the grocery pal app but you guys can download it it's free and you guys can save some money by checking in to see where some of your favorite products are being sold at a discount number eight buy in bulk especially when things are on sale now if you're worried about them going bad preserve them using either canning freezing or even drying if you have a dehydrator I love buying things in bulk especially meat when they're on sale because you can get them from cheaper prices and then I just put them in the freezer so each week when I figure out what I'm having I can take them out so that they saw number 9 buy your meats with the bone in or if you're buying seafood with the shell or bones still in if you buy chicken bone in it is way cheaper and it actually does taste better you have to roast it a little bit longer but just remember to take the skin off to remove some that excess fat you don't need if I were to buy shrimp at the grocery store without the shell it would cost me more money so take a few extra minutes yourself to buy it with the shell on and just do it yourself to save some money number 10 go vegetarian for some of the meals that you eat during the week beans are extremely affordable and so by factoring in a few vegetarian meals each week you are going to end up saving yourself some money number 11 avoid buying prepackaged foods or pre sliced produce grocery stores are charging you major dollars to do some of the dirty work that really doesn't take that much time so avoid buying the prepared and pre place number 12 pick a credit card that actually rewards you for shopping at the grocery store I have one that gives me points depending on how much I shop at the grocery store that month I then get to use those points to redeem for travel credits on my credit card statement so if I fly to California for work I can then use some of my grocery points to reduce that cost between like 100 and 200 dollars every credit card has a different rate as a different point system so shop around and pick the best one for you and the last one is to take bigger trips when you go to the grocery store when you go up to the register you might have a little sticker shock like oh my gosh I can't believe how much money I spent but I kind of mentioned this earlier by reducing the amount of times you go to a grocery store each week you're going to reduce the amount of impulse buys that you make at the store each time I go I'm guilty of this I at least five two or three things that I really didn't need but either I see them on sale or they look good or I'm in the mood and then I just end up spending more money than I needed to so by doing bigger grocery shopping trips each time you're going to reduce the amount of visits that you make and then reduce the amount of impulse buys and overall money that you have hopefully you enjoyed my tricks to save yourself some money at the grocery store if you're curious what a thirty dollar grocery haul looks like for meals for the entire week stay tuned to click on my thirty dollar grocery haul for the hey friends welcome back today I've got a grocery haul for you I went to Aldi and spent about $45 if you know around here I hope that you enjoyed the video please consider subscribing to be a part of the family we would love to have you also consider heading over to the Instagram page and following us over there as well today's grocery haul is from Aldi I know a lot of you love the Ahly hauls that's kind of where my channel started that's where the growth came from so I like to do all the just to keep it real you know anyway so in all honesty we are basically just doing a pantry challenge this month because we do have a lot of food on hand I also want to mention if you are new and this is a grocery haul that you're like you're just stumbling upon our channel we get meal delivery from every plate to every single week that we can for the most part we haven't skipped a week yet over the past three months I don't think the reason we get that is because so many of you have joined using our referral link down below which thank you so much it helps with our grocery budget tremendously that we get our weekly meals for free and then we just pay shipping which they just ran a promo on shipping where you paid $30 and you get three months of free shipping so we paid 30 versus paying $9 a week so um the lighting just keeps going walking it was a good deal so yeah so every play helps with our meals the nights that I'm not cooking every play because that's only three meals a week we have a deep freezer that we're trying to work through the meat there we do like grilled cheese and soup and sandwiches and now that it's getting hotter like we're in the 80s now like dinners are usually pretty light if I'm being asked so the everyplay meals are probably as heavy as we're gonna get and then dinners are just easy stuff so I'm gonna flip this around and show you what I got from okay so here's the overview I had a fifty dollar budget for the week and we spent 45 so we are under budget so that's awesome we still have if I showed or if you watched last week you saw our fridge we still have salad stuff in here it's still good we've just not been either a in the mood for salads or be home in the evenings on like Alice and I had a field trip yesterday and anyway so we still have veggies on hand okay come back to me there we are so I didn't get veggies I did get fruit this week and I'm super excited so we've got half a gallon of the unsweetened original almond milk we usually get at least one a week we had a few in the fridge still from last week Alice requested peanut butter cereal so we got two backs to that I always buy in twos because I fill up a Tupperware cereal container and it takes about two boxes I don't like I don't know it's it's a thing I have I do yeah we've got a frozen pizza for pizza night which is typically on Fridays coming back up here to the produce they're bananas this week were huge these are some of the smaller ones cuz the kids won't eat like super big ones obviously they can share one which they still sometimes do but bananas grapes were not super cheap I like to get them when they're under a dollar a pound they're a dollar 49 a pound I think so I just grabbed a little big strawberries however can you see some of these strawberries they're like the size Oh like my fist they're huge the lighting doesn't gonna let you see them see that that's like huge okay so strawberries we've got three of those those will go fast around here for after-school snacks and lunches for yogurt I got four peach yogurt for vanilla yogurt and then I got three of the toasted coconut vanilla for myself of the Greek pizza rolls for snacks or whatever weird we typically have them on hand and we were out Jackson in particular likes these I like to have this on hand it's their tikka masala sauce it's so good we made this for dinner last week and I used the last one I had on hand so I just grabbed one for the pantry getting low on peanut butter people have been eating a ton of peanut butter around here lately so I got another huge one of these these are so it's like 219 for this huge jar you'd pay easily like five or six dollars at Walmart for it well maybe not for the great value brand but you know I mean I don't know if this is new or if I've just never noticed before if you've been around awhile and you're like an OG fan you know Alice loves Beefaroni we've never had it from Aldi I usually get the Walmart brand because it's cheaper than the chef boyardee brand but we're gonna try this hopefully she likes that she hasn't had it in a while and she hasn't asked for it but I saw it so I grabbed it and then some crispy chicken strips to make chicken wraps one of the nights and this was an imp by but I knew I was gonna be under budget so I got this it's the Skippy PB&J minis and they're frozen you defrost them for about 30 minutes to an hour and then eat so I thought this would be great in lunch boxes and it says these are the actual size they look like almost like a little mini bagel fill things I don't know we'll see if the kids like them they might hate them and then for bread products I got a package of the everything bagels these are our favorite they're so so soft we have cream cheese on hand already for these we prefer the great value chive and onion and onion and garlic and onion I don't know cream cheese I'll show you in a second and then we got two of the split top wheat because again we've been going through sandwiches like crazy PB&J meat sandwiches so I grabbed two of them but the cream cheese that I use on those sorry if I'm making you dizzy by just whipping you guys around my kitchen is there it is the chive the blue chive and onion so yeah it's good it's cheeps like a dollar fifty something at Walmart so that right here is our grocery haul okay so there you have it Halle Hall this week drop me a comment down below let me know what you have on your menu let me know if you've tried every plate or if you have questions about it it's one of the cheaper like more frugal meal delivery services at about five dollars per person but we get the foreperson plan we pay about sixty dollars a week or we would if we paid out of pocket for the three meals and sometimes we do the upgrades we just started doing upgrades um for steak some nights because that feels fancy but we've really enjoyed it if you watch our weekly meal videos there's a whole playlist of those there's some good food there and it's easy and it's easy to replicate anyway I'm gonna stop talking put the stuff away thank you so much for watching until next time we'll see you later buddy

hey guys it's Jen welcome back to my channel and welcome back to another grocery haul and meal plan so this Saturday this Saturday it is not Saturday it is Sunday this Sunday is 9:30 in the morning and I'm here at Aldi I haven't been to all day for a few weeks and I always miss it when I don't go because there's just so much great stuff there that I can get for so much cheaper I will probably have to go tidy after this because one of the recipes that I'm cooking at today is for a slow cooker like the Mexican pork and it calls for dried chilies now they might have dried chilies here I'm not sure if I I'm thinking they might but I'm not for sure and so if they don't have those I'll have to go to hyvee but either way I will show you when I get home what I got and what the meal plan is for this week all right so here's a look at everything I got from Aldi and then I just picked up a few things from Walmart so I spent 123 dollars at Aldi and $10 at Walmart so 133 total which I thought was pretty good I did get some cherries I always like to get these when they are fresh and in season we all love them Adam especially loves them so I'll wash those up and we can have them for snacks and put them in lunches I got some lemons some limes that's my favorite place to get lemons and limes is that Aldi they're really good quality and they are cheaper there I grab some red grapes some Gala apples we were totally out of apples and we like to cut those up and eat them with like peanut butter or sometimes in like a homemade lunchable I got some red bell peppers there's a couple recipes I need those with two pounds of strawberries the kids love these cars so strawberries are his favorite fruit so we can go through those quick in no time I grabbed some blueberries for this Mexican pork that I'm gonna make for supper tonight I needed some Chili Peppers and they did end up having the ancho chilies at all these so I got those there and then I got the pasilla chilies at Walmart which I'll show you here in a second I grab wine English cucumber a head of cauliflower I'm gonna make mashed cauliflower as a side with dinner tomorrow two zucchinis for zoodles two mangoes for a mango salsa some garlic to have on hand for recipes and avocado for the crockpot pork tacos that I'm making for tonight there's also a recipe that called for prosciutto I actually really like to get that at Aldi because it's good quality and it's cheap there I think this was a Linux 329 or something like that if you got a high V and get this it's gonna be like six dollars probably so they have the best price there I am also going to be making some salmon with mate with the mango salsa and so I just grabbed a small portion of that some eggs for the crockpot pork tacos I grabbed a boneless pork roast this is almost four pounds for eight dollars and 43 cents so that's a pretty good price for that I need to get that in the crock-pot soon probably if we're gonna eat that for supper tonight okay I didn't grab too much she's just one block of pepper jack I like to cut this up and have it with Triscuits for a snack I also got some white cheddar I thought I would cut that up and do like some snack packs with the grapes so grapes and white cheddar are really good together and the kids liked that too I got some turkey pepperoni we like to have this on hand for snack Sakura also it likes to make turkey and pepperoni sandwiches for her lunches so that's what we use that for and then if we make like a quick pizza or anything like that this turkey breast I get it from Aldi quite a bit and it's really good it's just they're specially selected oven roasted turkey breast and then for tacos tonight in quesadillas and whatever else I just got some of the Mexican style cheese I got Parmesan cheese for a recipe some milk which we've already used part of because Connors eating cereal and also some apple peach applesauce the kids take these in their lunch I got some corn tortillas from Aldi we will not obviously use all these for dinner tonight there's 30 in there but corn tortillas freeze really well and I freeze them often and then if I want to make enchiladas or do like any kind of meal prep that includes corn tortillas I can just take them out of the freezer and thaw them out and they work great I got some Aldi Triscuits these are actually pretty pretty decent I love Triscuits I'm probably the only one in the house that likes them but for a good generic substitute the old e brand is pretty good and then my old II has started carrying the parmesan crisps and these are good on salads or on top of soups or even just for a snack so I grabbed a bag of those two tribes I got some salty nat crackers for soup let's see okay so I was totally out of white vinegar you guys know that I used this to wash my produce and then sometimes recipes call for it so I grabbed one of those there's a couple recipes that I'm gonna cook this week that needed white wine so I just got this bottle of Chardonnay from Aldi it was like $8 I think a can of Rotel for a recipe or whatever the generic version of that is a couple different cans of soup for Adam he likes to take those to work sometimes with the salad so I got the chicken and wild rice and the grilled chicken and sausage gumbo I got diced tomatoes for a recipe chipotle peppers in adobo okay so I've made a video what was it I can't remember now Chipotle I think I say to pull teh and I think that's wrong I think it's Chipotle so I'll try I'll try to say it right chipotle peppers tell me if I'm saying it right okay I got a bunch of comments on that okay I got some peanut butter cup ice cream I'm pretty sure this was like the halo top I'm not like necessarily a huge ice cream fan but I thought I would give this a try I've had some flavors of halo top before some are really good some are not in my opinion my favorite flavor of halo top is the lemon but anyway I thought I would give that a try this is sesame oil and I was happy to find this at Aldi this will be for a stir-fry recipe I'm almost out of it I keep I keep my sesame oil in the fridge because that's what I was always told to keep it from going rancid let me know if you do the same I grabbed a six-pack of the unsweetened tea is for Adam he likes to take this to work and have it in his office fridge to drink there I got some cherry fruit and grain bars these are like the nutrigrain bars and the kids like those for breakfast once in a while and then they had a couple different specialty chips so they had these horseradish cheddar and then they also had a buffalo blue cheese which I really thought we could try the buffalo but Adam hates blue cheese I like it but he hates it and so I was like I'm not gonna buy a whole bag of chips that you know I'm the only person that's gonna eat it so I just ended up getting these horseradish cheddar hopefully those are good and then I really like all these paper towels we're out almost out of paper towels right now and so I just went ahead and gotten the six pack I think these are really good quality they're Selecta sighs personally I can't tell the difference too much between these and bounty and they're a lot cheaper okay and then also at Aldi I got a huge pack of Lucroy I've been liking to drink that over ice with a squeeze of lime especially in the summer I think it's super refreshing and then we needed some garbage bags for the garage so Aldi had these so I just went ahead and got them there and then these are the only things that I got from Walmart so I had forgotten to get bananas so I grabbed some of those for a store for our recipe I needed water chestnuts I only need one can but I figured I would just get a couple wow just wow so I figured I would get to Kansas to have one in the pantry I got some ginger I was gonna get just regular like ginger root and grade it myself but I had quite a few recipes that needed it this weekend so I figured I'll just get those squeeze tube and I'll be more convenient okay got some pasilla chilies they had a huge display of all kinds of like chilies and spices at Walmart which might want my Walmart anyway is new and so I took advantage of that I got some Mexican oregano this was really cheap like around 60 cents and then also obviously the pasilla chilies so let me grab my meal planner and I will show you what I'm going to make this week so my plan this week is to do some pretty heavy cooking like at the beginning of the week and then the rest of the week we can have leftovers or sandwiches or just eat whatever out of the refrigerator so I was gonna make eggs benedict for breakfast this morning but I was too lazy and so I just ended up making biscuits and some bacon and eggs for lunch today I am planning on trying this locale fettuccine alfredo recipe from foodnetwork.com and we're gonna use that for lunch with zoodles and I have some shrimp in the freezer so hopefully that's good I can link this recipe down below and then for dinner I'm making these slow cooker pork tacos this will be in a separate recipe video that I'm collaborating with Mandy from Manny in the making on so you'll see that you probably have already seen that by the time you've seen this video but this is what I needed all the chilies for and stuff and then with that I'm gonna just cut up like you know fix things for tacos and maybe like chips and salsa on Monday tomorrow I am making this Giada De Laurentiis recipe for a Roman style chicken it's like a chicken sauteed with prosciutto there's peppers in there garlic diced tomatoes white wine and capers I thought it sounded really good and we're gonna have that with mashed cauliflower on Tuesday I have home chef coming so that's going to be bruschetta chicken green beans and potatoes and then like I said the rest of the week will just eat leftovers so I'm also going to meal prep today is chicken and broccoli stir-fry this is also a food network recipe I can link that down below and oh and then the salmon with the mango salsa is going to be another meal prep that I'm going to make today all right so that is it for today's grocery haul and meal plan I was glad to get back to Aldi I always like going back there and I just feel like they're getting so many more items the list of things that I have to go somewhere else to get is getting smaller and smaller so that's good when I go to all the I definitely save money and it's definitely one of my favorite grocery stores so thank you so much for watching and I will see you in my next video bye

hey guys we're at Aldi again we're completely out of like everything so it's going to be a pretty big grocery haul I'm about to get my cart just put a little quarter in there you do get your quarter back now at the end a lot of people were like why did you have to order food carts to get it back that's one of the ways they cut prices also yes I say algae and I'm saying it my whole life like that so I'm not going to change it you can say algae like that or I'll be up to you Yolo all right so I've noticed that most Aldi's as soon as you walk in have like some to go drinks and like little snack packs and things like that and then it usually starts with the produce so here I'm kind of pondering for over a minute because I'm trying to find organic produce a lot of times they will have organic but I feel like they sell out pretty quickly just because their prices are so amazing I loved grabbing this big giant bag of garlic just because we use in so many recipe is it was just easier to just go ahead and grab that I also got grapes blueberries and strawberries but if you miss anything don't worry at the end of this video I'm going to do a little haul and I also want to tell you right away that this giant grocery shop I only spent $130 which is one of the main reasons that I really love Aldi I always grab their bag salads as well as our spinach for smoothies I get their butter lettuce and that is my favorite to put into just like the lunch salads and things like that we also just cut this up and use it for the lettuce on our tacos you will see I get a lot of produce and that's because I have toddlers and we go through produce like crazy in my house and one of our favorite things are just mangoes we use it just for snacks that we also like to make mango salsa I have a video on my channel for our fresh mango salsa as well that's a big hit also I want to mention that these little produce bags are from Young Living the bread here is so inexpensive it's 67 cents like you really can't beat that I also like to grab a lot of snacks er these little snack packs this whole giant package was under $5 they're just great for summertime like on-the-go you know little car rides or Beach trips things like that I also always get these dried fruit packs because my kids love these they love the apple and pear the most but they only had apples this time over here I just grabbed some fresh date salsa they had an organic version so when they do have organic I do choose that we're not like a hundred percent organic in any way but when there's a healthier organic option I like to grab that especially because this was only like 20 cents more speaking of non-organic I crept to Bob Evans mashed potatoes we like those for my easy shepherd's pie a lot of you know that recipe and I also just grabbed some of these tortellinis to throw in with some sauce the kids love that those little toy storage animals were a hit at Carter's birthday party and then this was a new find for us this was a Greek yogurt cream cheese spread and this was just for me nobody else will eat it in my house because they like the Philadelphia Cream Cheese but I love it because it has more protein and it's made with Greek yogurt and I've had the salmon here multiple times and it's always been delicious we've never had a problem with the salmon and it's for a great price we're also going to go ahead and grab a couple packets of chicken thighs and you can stay tuned until the end of this video and I will show you what I made with them in the crock-pot and we also just picked up some ground turkey the next thing I grabbed was this uncared bacon I've never used this bacon before I usually get there like I think it's called like light and fit or something like that their brand of turkey bacon until I realized that it says like mechanically separated on the back and then that's when I stopped buying it now I'm just grabbing some shredded cheese we're getting Mexican cheese and mozzarella cheese we always have these on stock I got plain Greek yogurt for overnight oats and then I got cottage cheese for my protein pancakes and now I'm just gonna go ahead and grab some milk and eggs next I'm gonna check out the frozen aisle and the only thing I got from this section was these veggie burgers I've had them before and they're really good random but I saw this on the side this toy story for cereal I did not purchase it though um we got some brown rice and we also got some corn tortillas and of course we have to stock up on juice I have to beg my kids to drink regular water so I just put a little bit of apple juice in their water cups and that's how they drink their drinks so it's like a quarter of apple juice and all the rest water but otherwise they don't usually drink water one of the reasons I fell in love with Aldi was because of their huge gluten-free selection I was really disappointed today I'm not gonna lie this is not my normal Aldi but they didn't have any bread or any bagels so that was a big bummer because now I have to go to a different store to get bagels and bread but we did pick up some of their gluten-free macaroni and cheese and if you have never had these chips you have to have them they are the best they are the gluten free sweet chili chips the babies section here is pretty awesome too I grabbed a lot of yogurt milk because they get sold out really quickly and my kids eat like one bag per sitting and they are the cheapest here they're almost like three dollars out of our regular grocery store and I also really like their pouches I know a lot of people have said things about Aldi pouches that like I think there was like one article that showed mold in them but these pouches are see-through don't worry I picked it up off the floor one of my favorite things about Aldi is like the two random aisles they always have a really super random stuff I found tons of great things in these aisles before they always have like some good candles some home decor that's super affordable I've even gotten organizers from here pool things for the kids like outdoor activities for them Tupperware cupcake tins I've gotten so many really cool things here for really inexpensive but I'll show you all the things that they had that I thought were really cute I love these little galvanized tins I did not buy any of them but I think they would be really cute for home decor a slushy maker I also really wanted to buy this and of course I wanted to buy this it's like an iced coffee brewing system yes please give me all of the coffee even had an ice maker I did grab this because I really need one of these they're like little clip-on strainers I like the little potato peeler potato scrubber what else did they have that I really thought was cute they did have something like Toy Story 4 things here as well but we just had Carter's birthday party so we didn't need any of that stuff I thought this tumbler was really good but also I really don't need that as well and then like some I home speakers and just honestly like the most random but coolest things I thought this beach towel was adorable but I refrained I wanted the doughnut and the little watermelon the pool is perfect for young kids but we already have one tons of little floats and cute things like that here there were sprinklers and slip and slides they even had these UV shirts which are great for your kiddos and now it's time to check out which always gives me anxiety because they are so fast bringing you up that it's crazy there's usually only one person working the register too so it just makes me extra anxious but it's all worth it because to get all of these items for 130 dollars is like incredible when I go to my regular grocery store I spent at least 200 I also wanted to mention that I did get a case of water we are not using our water filtration system right now just because they've been doing like work on our water in our neighborhood and I seriously just don't trust it and it freaks me out seriously that was the fastest shop I've ever done been about to kick up Carter vacation look at this guy see look right here stick it in she said get your quarterback and here is just a little overview of everything that we got in case you missed it like I had mentioned we were in a really big rush because we had to get my son Carter from preschool so I feel like I might have missed telling you about some of the items that I got but again I feel like this was all a really great deal [Applause] [Applause] and here is just a it's super easy chicken taco crock pot meal literally put some chicken thighs in some salsa and a packet of taco seasoning and that is it four hours on high or eight hours on low and it is delicious and I hope that you all enjoyed this video please don't forget to subscribe and give this video a thumbs up if you thought up it I know that you want to see more videos like this and I will totally make them for you also
