hi everybody welcome to our first let's watch so we wanted to come in here we don't want to make the video really long now um so we but shortened see I feel like I'm so short compared to you everybody like this beautiful New York City wall yeah I'm gonna stand on my tippy toes because then I feel a little bit taller but anyway uh we just wanted to come in here and chat with you we have gotten so many responses off our about our trip to San Francisco into Napa so much fun so much fun way so we just wanted to come in here and talk to you about a little a couple of things that we really really loved about the trip and things that we did and budget friendly things and places to go so we just wanted to start off with that the first thing I have to say is I'd love Groupon travel we love Groupon drop on travel everybody knows Groupon you can go go in there and get a great deal for things and they're legit they're totally legit but we have found Groupon travel if you don't know about it check it out because that is how we have gotten most of our travel things from great amazing discounts and everything from restaurants to attractions to even getaways themselves which will be perfect about that here our first three point get away one of them was to Rome Rome we went to you whatever thought you got a worm on a Groupon yeah and there are speculations don't you know don't think that they're not there are stipulations to it but my goodness the way to travel try Groupon travel because you never know what you're gonna find and again that's how we found our trip to Rome we had to go during a certain months that was much cheaper they had to pick our flight which was much cheaper but it was affordable for us to go and it was a whirlwind of a trip but we loved it and we got everything that we wanted to see and I will be posting about that here yes last week so check that out and I'll be putting a lot more tips on there and different attractions that we did to highlight specifically for room itself but we'll also be hearing the upcoming future here you'll be receiving one of our newsletters so excited you know it's so excited that's also going to include another giveaway yes we have another giveaway coming up we have another giveaway coming but another thing we also wanted to talk about it's not a Groupon but it's something that Emily found and we had no idea that it even existed but we wanted to talk a little bit about jet sweet gently we're in love oh my gosh we are in love so all you West Coast they're here on the west coast yes Holmen on the west coast a couple of couple of areas here it's not everywhere yet so they just announced flights from Phoenix Vegas here in the southern part of California then Concord and up to San Francisco and Oakland and Oakland and also Seattle Seattle yes and it services payments yes yes so basically what jet suite is it's amazing it's not any more expensive than if you were just by commercial airline it's VIP red carpet experience for you feel like you're flying on a private jet exclusively for yourself you walk in you're not even escorted to a security line like you do at major airports you don't have to show up four hours early we only showed up 30 minutes prior and you go to the desk and you check in and they check your bag and you do a little security check not a big deal and then they take you into this private hangar where you hang out with the other pastors and they have Starbucks coffee and they have doughnuts and snacks and so forth and then you board your plane and it all different types so it's lounge furniture there's games all kinds yeah really really fun and then they roll out the red carpet from later Homer literally to the runway runway to plane the Queen and you get on the plane and again it's not a private jet it's a semi private jet but you have leather seats and we were so amazed with the amount of room business class I'm fine about eight and I always have trouble with my me in the leg room area I felt like I was not seriously I know they reclined the seats back literally was all the way like almost all the way so our planes were full but again these are just these are just from California to these little operational places yes and you get free snacks on board you get free beverages alcohol which even includes alcohol and our amazing stewardess made us a special beverage because my birthday you wanted some champagne they didn't have champagne but she you know kind of rigged something that that you know that was kind of equal to that whole America oh we got a phone call sorry about that um so this is this is what was one of your favorite things on the same other than jet suite because I think that was my late great Oh what was one of your favorite attractions like the full House house challenging for me what did we do on that famous with Ben Hill the name of the hell were the painted lead painted ladies we were there blares loudly yeah she blares loudly the fuller house theme so people were that was fun we went over the Golden Gate Bridge and we played the fuller house theme we sang so that was super fun too and then heading up into okay one of my highlights which was fun we went down to Fisherman's Wharf and had the tourists the attractions to highly recommend beginning a cup of clam chowder is free so it's 120 degrees here we left here at 120 and it was probably what 40 50s when we were there completely bundled up completely all we wanted was a couple of powder so just a steep pop ups in at Fisherman's Wharf and there was a line there was a woman like okay this has got to be good if there's a line so nothing tasted better it was and we walked on with all the seals we did we saw the seals and then we walked and we saw Ghirardelli Square it was it was just really fun and then we headed up to Napa yeah and stayed in a great resort that she that she won actually last year she wanted to free nights stay at her previous property beautiful proper that was wonderful and they comped so many things for us which was amazing so hats off to the Embassy Suites in Napa thank you thank you so much for your hospitality it was amazing then we headed up to the wineries yes wineries we did go to my sister's winery the beret winery very mature Beringer and then our feet right I like highlight durva only an hour only now we're not bad at all as far as the try very seen it it's very thick so the drive goes very very quickly but we drove all the way up more northern yes but it's the Francis Ford Coppola winery so the director Francis Ford Coppola he's a bad father Godfather Tucker he has all his memorable of his memorabilia in there but what is so amazing is the Francis Ford Coppola winery is the only winery in California right California and definitely California California the only winery to have a swimming pool that guests can come in use for the day so cabanas commands have a private little get-together yes you don't have to do the commando and also just get into house for the pool but the cabanas are available and it's really cool because the pool is shaped as a one glass no but we got a tour of the bottling and I think you'll be actually featuring that on the ball keep an eye out for that story now highlight all those wineries that we yes participated in so yes we really can't wait to hear your feedback point topics that we really could highlight for you let us know what you want to talk about we are so thrilled it's hard to believe that April is when we launched and now we're already in June so two months up and running but the feedback has been more than I communiques it's been wonderful we thank you all for your love and your support and your encouragement but we do you know it's about our fans and it's about all of the subscribers and so like we said we are gonna get the newsletter out there but we want feedback so send us an email these fellows who travel and things that we would like to see topics that we can talk about yeah yeah thing anyway we would like personal stuff I don't know anything you know we can lifestyle travel what absolutely so wonderful we're excited yes keep an eye out for the next blog post you'll be seeing that again come Monday and I'll be featuring group on travel and our trip to Rome yes and I'm gonna be doing our trip to Napa and my life on the set yeah farmer to the Bell I've got some other things in the works there a secret I can't say anything yet because it's not signed sealed and delivered but I have some other things coming up in the pipeline as far as entertainment for me so I'm super super excited to be able to share that with you hopefully I can soon but just thank you so much and we hope that you love the let's chat feature as much as we do and again please comment and let us know what you want to talk about thank you again for all your support we'll see you soon bye

Step 1: Get the facts
Download a full checklist of energy-saving tips at CreateTheGood.org.

Step 2: Offer to do a walk-through
Offer to do a walk-through of friends’ homes, so you can help them identify ways they can reduce their energy spending. Start by closing vents and doors in rooms that aren’t being used.

Step 3: Clean heat and A/C sources
Make sure radiators, vents, and baseboard heaters aren’t blocked by curtains, furniture, or carpeting. If any heat or air-conditioning source is dirty, help clean it.

Step 4: Check their water heater
Look at their water heater and suggest lowering the temperature to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Reducing the temperature by 20 degrees can save nearly $50 per year without sacrificing comfort.

Step 5: Look for drafts
Check for drafts. Improperly sealed ducts in attics and garages alone can boost utility bills by 25 percent. And look for gaps around windows, doors, and pipes that connect to the house from the outside. If they have a window air-conditioning unit, encourage them to either remove or cover it during the winter.

Tip
They may need professional assistance to seal gaps, but the price for the service can be worth the long-term savings.

Step 6: Explain the 10-10 Rule
Explain the 10-10 rule: Lowering their thermostat in winter by 10 percent for eight hours, like while they sleep, can shave 10 percent off their heating bill.

Tip
People age 65 and older should consider local public-health directives and weather warnings before adjusting their thermostats.

Step 7: Ask about air filters
Ask when they last cleaned or replaced their furnace or A/C air filter. A clean one can save 10 percent on their energy costs.

Step 8: Use efficient bulbs
Replace incandescent light bulbs with ENERGY STAR compact fluorescent bulbs, which use 75 percent less energy, and last up to 10 times longer. That can translate into savings of up to $30 over one fluorescent bulb’s lifetime!

Did You Know?
Help with energy or home weatherization costs may be available for eligible residents. Check with your local utilities and department of social services for more information.
