So today I'm going to be going through converting
a blank space into my Zwift session. So I'm running through all of the components
I'm going to use. I'll go the budget option, so if you're looking
for the cheapest way to get on board this will be very handy. So let's go for a ride. Bike's already sorted, good to go. Next thing we need is the indoor trainer. I've chosen the Cycleops Fluid II today. Standard Fluid trainer supported by Zwift,
pretty basic trainer. Quite cheap, two hundred dollars online second
hand. Maybe a little more if you buy new, but a
good budget option to start out with. And to match that we put down a yoga mat as
well. OK bike's set up ready to go. One slight modification I always use is to
raise the front wheel just a little bit indoors I feel a little bit more comfortable with
it raised up. Best solution for that that I've found and
the cheapest solution the yellow pages. So the next thing to do now is to hook up
the speed sensor for the rear wheel so that it can communicate with the Zwift session
so I've got myself a cheap Garman one that I had laying around the house picked one up
for thirty dollars maybe a lot cheaper second hand I put this on the rear wheel so it can then
transmit the rear wheel speed via Ant plus. The speed sensor has now been installed on
the rear wheel. It's transmitting Ant plus rear wheel speed. Next thing we need is a computer now I've
got a laptop, just a Macbook Pro I'll be setting it in front of me on the barrels there. We're almost there. So you can see the distance between the computer
and the Ant plus speed sensor down here. Ant plus can get a little confused in a noisy
environment if you've got your microwave oven on, you've got wifi signals, you've got other
devices in the 2.4 spectrum. It get's a little technical, don't worry about
any of that. The best advice I can give is to get a USB
extension cable it just brings the Ant key a little closer to there. So the ant key, very small, very easy to lose. So it's very handy to have that on the end
of a long rope. So to speak. So Ant key installed I put that on the computer
and run it down through the back of that. These things are set and forget. Once they're in place no need to worry. We're really close now. So we have the bike on the trainer. We have the speed sensor on the rear wheel. We've got the computer set up over here. And the Ant Stick is as close as we can get
it to make sure that there's maximum signal strength. A few bonus options here. Indoor fans got to keep cool. These are the best one's I've found. Little Sunair turbo. High velocity turbo fans 30 cm. They're
very quiet for what they are. Highly recommended. Let's get that set up in front of me. Another tip with installing the fan don't
put it directly in front of you where you're the smallest, put it just off to the side
so it can get a lot more body surface area keep you nice and cool. Cooling is very important. We'll cover a whole other video on cooling. So setup is almost done now the extra bonus. I use a quad lock bike mount for my iPhone. So though I'm Zwifting, I can use the phone,
text, Facebook, and most importantly the mobile link to get a few ride ons. And for those really long Zwift sessions. We need some light reading so got a few magazines
I'll study up on the tour. But there we go. Setup complete from zero to Zwift station. All in one. Again in summery, we've got the bike, we have
the rear wheel speed sensor installed, on cycleops II fluid trainer, floor mat, Ant
plus stick with the extension cable so it can talk to the computer, a fan, and the Mac
computer running Zwift. Easy as that. Taking you through a blank space to a Zwift
station, also a little side table here. That's a conductor's stand. Picked up for about fifty dollars. Again any side table works. Basic setup. Z power. Let's get some kilometers in. Just before we get stuck into this session. I'll run you through exactly the config I've
got setup in Zwift to make all of this work with Z Power. OK we have to spin the rear wheel we're using
ant plus to hook up our sensors today. We have no power source but we have a classic
speed sensor here. So I'll click on search as you can tell this
house has a few ant plus sensors here the bottom one is what we're after the speed and
cadence sensor. From here we select our compatible trainer. That would be the Cycleops Fluid II. OK I have no cadence sensor at the moment
so I'll actually unpair that. I have a heart rate monitor on there we go. Seventy-one beats per minute. No cadence sensor, no power source. Connected by Ant plus. Click OK. Few of my friends online. I know the workout I'm going to do so let's
get stuck into it straight away. So there we go. Training session done for the day, using Z
Power and a budget setup for Zwift. Didn't cost a lot, didn't take long to setup
at all. So laptop, fluid trainer, Ant stick, away

hey guys today I'm going to share with you some tricks to save money at the grocery store I know all of you love my budget haul videos so I thought that you would appreciate knowing my secrets to saving money at the grocery store let's start with number one eat in season right now it's summertime and berries nectarines grape tomatoes yummy vegetables and fruits are in season right now and for that reason they are cheaper at the grocery store I also find that they taste better when you're actually eating them when their season appropriate number two coupons I'm not really into clipping out my own coupons but you do have the option to go onto coupons calm red plum calm there's a few other websites where you can actually go on and print out coupons for foods that you are already buying at the grocery store you can also go on to your favorite brands Facebook pages and sometimes they have coupons for you to print out there too 3 make a list duh but don't just make a list meal prep and create a menu if you do this you're going to know how much you need of each item so that when you go to the store you can get enough so that you don't have to do midweek trips that often include impulse buys so create a list create a meal plan and get after it number 4 don't shop hungry if you're like me and you shop hunger you buy everything the store everything looks good so before you go to the store eat a meal have a nice lunch have a nice breakfast and then go shopping before dinner there's always a million people there especially on Monday and Tuesday's and you end up buying way more than you need so eat a meal before you go don't shop hungry number five go generic some of my favorite foods to buy like Oh cereals frozen vegetables by buying the generic version you're really not sacrificing any taste or quality you're just going to save money so don't be afraid to buy generic number six is something I do I shop around I know what stores have the best prices so when I need to do some staple shopping I'll go to Aldi because I know that they are the cheapest there four other things I like to go to Trader Joe's for some of my sauces in different condiments and frozen vegetables and then there's hopefully taupe it's actually has some great deals on things but also same with Target Sean's stop and shop we all have different grocery stores and I liked shop around to get the best deals possible which brings me to number seven use your iPhone when you go shopping I love this new app called grocery pal you enter in your zip code and then it lets you know what the sales are at the stores near you so if you know you love to eat Greek yogurt you can go and see what store has Greek yogurt on sale that week it also will let you know if there are $1 great tomatoes when Aldi has this week near me $1 for grape tomatoes I wouldn't have known that if I hadn't downloaded the grocery pal app but you guys can download it it's free and you guys can save some money by checking in to see where some of your favorite products are being sold at a discount number eight buy in bulk especially when things are on sale now if you're worried about them going bad preserve them using either canning freezing or even drying if you have a dehydrator I love buying things in bulk especially meat when they're on sale because you can get them from cheaper prices and then I just put them in the freezer so each week when I figure out what I'm having I can take them out so that they saw number 9 buy your meats with the bone in or if you're buying seafood with the shell or bones still in if you buy chicken bone in it is way cheaper and it actually does taste better you have to roast it a little bit longer but just remember to take the skin off to remove some that excess fat you don't need if I were to buy shrimp at the grocery store without the shell it would cost me more money so take a few extra minutes yourself to buy it with the shell on and just do it yourself to save some money number 10 go vegetarian for some of the meals that you eat during the week beans are extremely affordable and so by factoring in a few vegetarian meals each week you are going to end up saving yourself some money number 11 avoid buying prepackaged foods or pre sliced produce grocery stores are charging you major dollars to do some of the dirty work that really doesn't take that much time so avoid buying the prepared and pre place number 12 pick a credit card that actually rewards you for shopping at the grocery store I have one that gives me points depending on how much I shop at the grocery store that month I then get to use those points to redeem for travel credits on my credit card statement so if I fly to California for work I can then use some of my grocery points to reduce that cost between like 100 and 200 dollars every credit card has a different rate as a different point system so shop around and pick the best one for you and the last one is to take bigger trips when you go to the grocery store when you go up to the register you might have a little sticker shock like oh my gosh I can't believe how much money I spent but I kind of mentioned this earlier by reducing the amount of times you go to a grocery store each week you're going to reduce the amount of impulse buys that you make at the store each time I go I'm guilty of this I at least five two or three things that I really didn't need but either I see them on sale or they look good or I'm in the mood and then I just end up spending more money than I needed to so by doing bigger grocery shopping trips each time you're going to reduce the amount of visits that you make and then reduce the amount of impulse buys and overall money that you have hopefully you enjoyed my tricks to what's good everybody welcome back to another video thank you guys for watching in this video guys we are going to do a keto grocery haul but one slight little difference guys cuz I have done a video like this in the past we are going to do a keto grocery haul on a budget guys so all we have is 50 bucks more or less to try to get what we can get for the week so we're going to try to get this grocery haul list to last at least a week hopefully it can if it can't I'll definitely let you guys know that but I'm going to show you the most important things you guys got to get when you're on the keo diet and you look for cheap foods so I was gonna go shop at Target or h-e-b but not to pin you not too many people shop at Target and then not everyone has an h-e-b not everyone is that lucky to have an HTP in their hometown Walmart because 95% of you guys have a Walmart in your town or somewhere so sit back relax and enjoy this Kido grocery haul alright guys so first item of the day is going to be some eggs you can see right here some of these eggs and as you can see they're only a dollar 24 so pretty much what I'm going to do I'm going to grab each item put the price on account code on my phone add everything up and then when I get close to about I don't know 50 bucks I'll probably stop because you get add taxes blah blah blah blah I want to keep this as close to $50 as possible so first item eggs got to have the eggs guys I mean it's so simple perfect on a keto diet make some eggs for breakfast make some eggs for lunch dinner I typically eat lay eggs any time of the day so that's first time so I got a couple of items so far let me just kind of just run through a little quick I didn't want to do every single item bug alright I'm alright guys item 1 item 2 I didn't create item for someone to grab a lot of them and then go over them with you real quick so got to get pecans guys pecans are phenomenal on a keto diet I know a lot of people say stay away from nuts and stay away from all that but blah blah blah bizarre Harvard they're hard to digest but dude I love pecan fiber is 4 grams of fiber and 3 grams of fiber and 4 grams of carbs sorry early getting 1 gram of carbs per serving which is phenomenal obviously she's gotta have cheese now I know a lot of people say stay away from sausage because you don't know what they're putting into the sausage but if the macros are right on this sausage they're actually really good so per one serving which is 2 ounces 16 grams of fat and 0 grams of carbs now I know a lot of people are gonna say yeah well you know they put this they put all kinds of different ingredients into the sausage I'm gonna go off of what the macros say on there so there you go it's safe in my opinion bacon I don't have to go there you guys know Bacon's phenomenal on the keto and then BOOM look at these half-pounders right we're guys you start half pounder burgers I mean that that right there you get let's say 2 4 6 8 you get 8 half pound burgers I mean that will last you a good couple of days for the keto diet and then also got me some mustard because I like to throw mustard on my sausage but we're not done guys we are right here in the oil section and a lot of people are telling me to get MTC oil now I don't think they have that here at Walmart but they do have some coconut oil right here guys look at that price 368 your not going to get any cheaper coconut oil anywhere else I'm telling you man that's pretty cheap so we're gonna continue this grocery haul it's going pretty good guys adding everything up I think we're like at 40 bucks and we're almost done so we may stay well under 50 bucks so for all you guys are saying keto diet may be expensive you guys are completely wrong so uh let's keep shopping God guys I pulled into the wrong section look at this another book carbs give me out here they gave me there give me out of this section ha how's closed well guys gotta get out of that section man that section will get me in trouble let's finish hi guys so for the next item for someone like me who is a big sweet tooth and you've got to have your sweets but man when you're on the keto diet like sugar is something that you absolutely cannot have go to my go-to snack right here so this is sugar free jello right here I think the macros on here like know grams of carbs won't grab a protein it's pretty much nothing really really good white snack like I said it's a go-to snack when you're craving something sweet but you know obviously you can't have your neighbor's sugar so I definitely recommend you getting some of these now it's the last kind of couple of items but these are probably going to be the most important and the reason why I say that is because a lot of people think you can't get veggies on a keto diet because you know you guys state you got to keep it carbs low but that's just so far from the truth guys you can get a lot of veggies on the keto diet you just got to be careful and you just got to be smart about what you pick so for me like my go-to veggie on a keto diet is broccoli like I love rock food good oh yeah man I think so yeah my go-to it asparagus broccoli and the reason why is because it will one it's very low in calories but with broccoli it's very high in fiber is what you want on a keto diet because when you're on the keto diet I do get a lot of questions say hey man do you have a trouble do you have trouble going to the bathroom and yes in the beginning you will have trouble kind of go into the back when you're on a keto diet it's kind of hard to digest food so that's why it's very important to get your veggies in it's very important to get your fiber in so don't believe that guys you can't get your veggies in on a keto diet so again I'm gonna get some asparagus get some broccoli and then probably call it a day as far as grocery haul and then add up all those add up everything and see where we're at you so I calculated everything up so far we're about like at 47 48 dollars so plus tax that's probably going to put us around the 50 maybe a little bit over where we're going to find out so let's go alright guys so check that out we are at $42 well under the $50 mark so guys Quito is not an expensive diet you can do a week's worth of food well under $50 so I'm actually pretty excited I was calculating everything to be like forty six forty seven dollars plus tax but now things actually came out a lot cheaper than I thought so yeah $42 guys for a week's worth of food that's awesome okay I'm gonna attempt to get a thumbnail for this video before I get kicked out but here we go all right let's see at home bye we'll see ya huh good day all right guys I just have to say one thing before we leave Walmart you know Walmart gets a lot of bad flack about you know their store just because like mainly the customer service but I will say this I absolutely love Walmart because they absolutely do not bother me when I feel like they don't care like actually asking questions either like giving me thumbs up like yeah good job I will say this h-e-b I had a very bad experience one time I went to a gym and did a grocery haul video like me and they're like security guy were like almost about that I throw it down like so I will say that I do I am a big fan HTV but I hate that they don't let you record there and they're like bust your balls about it Walmart they just don't give a so that's awesome let's head home alright guys so we're back at home from the grocery haul and I'm having my first meal of the day which is eggs and sausage now this isn't a full day of eating but screwed for the macros at the bottom get have this meal watch some Katy nice tat cuz like he's one of my favorite youtubers and he's pretty much everywhere it's very you tuber bit anyways guys I hope you guys did like this video if you did give it a thumbs up it really helps a channel out and yeah guys um keto grocery shopping is not expensive as you guys just saw under 50 bucks gonna last me a week and there you go I mean if you're going out to eat you're going to spin easily ten to fifteen dollars and that's just one meal so this imagine if you went out to eat for lunch for dinner the breakfast I mean dude that would add up in like two days so it's definitely smarter to go to go grocery shopping and uh keto is not an expensive diet
