hey guys welcome back to my channel I'm pay and it's Monday which means it's a cricket tutorial and today I am teaching you guys how to import your own images this is a super simple way dinner tutorial but it's very useful so let's get going and if you guys are not subscribed check out the subscribe button and you guys can check out the links down below if you guys want to become a patron or you want some coupon codes for your cricket stuff alright let's go welcome back to design space this is the design space I'm not dying but I sound like it sometimes this is a design space tutorial and today we are going to talk about uploading your own images this might sound really basic to certain people especially because we've been doing some extensive stuff on YouTube but I wanted to put this up just in case someone's here and brand new and I'm gonna start doing some new tutorials for some new beginners okay so one of the biggest questions from Cricut is how do you upload your own images so what we're going to do is we are going to go to google because that's the best place to find anything and we are going to search say today we want to do a picture of let's see let's not waste too much time on this let's do a Disney Castle today okay so we want to upload our own image let's just go crazy and find an actual image and we're going to pretend like we're going to do prints and cut today because this would obviously not be something we want to cut out in vinyl and once it's print and cut vinyl so we're going to save this and I should have named it I'm really bad at that so then when you're in design space you just inflict upload images you're going to click upload image you're going to go browse you are going to find your image that you just saved that we're really bad at labeling so we're just going to look with our eyeballs and there it is we're going to open it we are going to turn this definitely into a complex image because simple image will dumb it down a bit which is kind of cool for if you want to do so vinyl a moderately complex image which this would not work because this was a JPEG because we would actually separate that all into layers so we're going to do a complex image so it picks up all those vibrant colors so that when we print this we get all those colors then it's going to take you to this little spot where it's going to ask you where do you want this to cut when it cut now let's just drive is that just to show you guys obviously this is not what I would do but I'm going to pick a few spots just to show you how you play with a picture so I want to go in and do a clip art after this because it's really going to get kind of confusing so let's click continue so when you go to here with your image you have the option to save it as a printing cut which just means that it's going to save all those pretty colors and you can print this and then cut it and it's going to cut where you told it that you want it to cut this is really good for planner stickers and things like that which if you are interested in that type of stuff check out more of my videos this is the cut image and I always like to wait till this load so I can check and make sure I got all the spots that I wanted to because it's really simple but if I save this as a cut image all just going to do is save it as one solid color and it'll cut this shape out it won't save all this so we're going to save this as a presen cut and I'll show you a disk I'll show you how with a clip art we would do something over here so while this is waiting I'm going to go over to Google and I'm going to find something let's just find Mickey clipart and let's just find a simple picture of Mickey that has some good alignment I mean these are all good but for the example I want to show okay let's just find him like this let's own he's already a PNG so he doesn't have a background I'm going to find something that has a white background so let's go with this Mickey save image as let's label him Mickey example Ben Mondex desktop and then let's go active design so I see how that's doing oh okay so you want to tag your images so that you can find them later Disney example sometimes when you're importing large images it takes a little bit longer and SPG's are really good because they just upload right away which you can find SVG is on Etsy or free downloads and you can upload those as well just the same and they'll go right in so then let's do the other guy let's find Mickey clipart he's on our desktops that I clearly need to sing off so I have them already but let's just do the one that we saved anyways so now you'll see that he is much more simple he only has a few different colors so sometimes we can get away with a simple image but that's not enough colors in case you wanted to save them as a petaca let's go with moderately complex or complex let's just go with complex to get all these colors to be safe so now is where right now all this would do would be print and it would cut this rectangle right here we don't want that so we want to take away all the background now what it's telling us is we want to be able to print this and take all of the background out so when it cuts it's going to cut right around his outside but I want to go with that beyond so I'm going to show you what I mean by this so we're going to say this is a printing cut and it's going to register all these cut lines if we just wanted him to cut this is what we would do and this would be a big blob of vinyl today we want to do a vinyl project we're going to actually go back and I'm going to cut out all of these little pieces that I want I'm going to leave this I to show you what I mean for another set I'm also going to leave these little circles to see except I want to leave those or take them out so now I'm going to go and you'll see that printing cut would look like this and look at if I were to print then cut him like here I can see his eyeball is missing that thought and I wasn't sure if I wanted to leave these and now I look at it and I don't want to leave them because they just look Hollow they look like almost like they're like open and easy as skin underneath so I want to go back and this was all for teaching purposes I want to go back and take his eye out and take these guys out and continue and let's look where it's going to cut before we click though and I like that much better these registers now as buttons better and his eye looks better and everything looks good so I'm going to save them as a cut image you could save them as a person cut but he just blacked so I wouldn't take waste my time saving and as that and you can now can cut him out a vinyl you see and it's going to cut in all these lines real nice blacks okay so now we're going to tag him as sneaky and vinyl so we'll let a lots of words that you can find him later in case you have a ton of the keys like I do and we're going to save him and then he's ready to go so I'm just going to show you guys the more expensive version of what we're going to do so let's go in here let's insert these images and the nice thing is now he is a Cricut vector image so he's scalable he can get really big and we can also visualize them in different colors if you wanted to come out a pink vinyl or whatnot this is set right here to print so when you would click go on here it would prompt you to print this out first and then cut it this would not because it's set to cut so then we would click so and we would follow through with the rest of our forget stuff that we would do so that's how simple it is just to upload your own images to Cricut design space super simple if you guys want more simple tutorials for design space let me know and I will like I will try to upload them to my channel and if you guys don't have a Cricut don't know what one is and be odd for you guys to be watching this video but make sure you check out the link down below and there's always to talk links and coupons down there for you guys to get deals and feels and all that so thanks for watching love you guys bye

hi everybody welcome back we have a Disney video woohoo I'm feeling very spring to fire today thank you so come on spring you colors anyway cuz it's spring color spring April yay hopefully I'll stop being cold anyway you have is new video no it's Disney video I did a bit more by um getting free Disney shopping because it's a great offer and every time it rolls around I always get so excited and I love it I think it's like a couple of times a year three or four no not three or four two or three times a year I'm not sure exactly but yes if you did not know I made a video a couple of weeks back think I think where I showed some things that got um Disney rounder and free I went and got some more things I'm going to show to you here these ones I picked up from HIV and they seemed to have a really really good range and they had pretty much everything that I have seen that was on in the offer and they had a few things I didn't even know what in the office so I was like oh wow you know that's really good I did go to the Disney Store as well before it was hate repeat and they were I think there was $17.99 at the Disney Store no 69c I think and then in the h-1b the 49 today that's definitely a better deal but they do have the Disney Store HMV Sainsbury's has them I think there maybe 50 notes down there or 49 mm Emerson of course has them and also just let you guys know they do have the 3d and obviously they've got a 3d offer as well it doesn't even get on free freely or I think it's like I don't think it's found at a fret I think it's two for 19 pounds Disney 3d which is a great deal but most of those I did already have so I haven't chopped him that – yeah on my last video a lot of people asked to know a bit more about the deal so that's kind of you know best place I found its hatred beef check out there and they've got a lot of good titles there so the very first one I picked up is one that I wanted to pick up and it was like third on my list from the – I picked up in the other video which I'll link down below and it is Mulan yay and as you can see you know $14.99 bound got fries 15 pounds of – which is great for Disney and then we've got this little Mickey Mouse Disney is really awesome opieop Mulan I haven't seen for a long time I do remember I really enjoyed it I like this little guy here this little dragon guy yes this is really cool and I really can't wait to watch this one again and yeah do you guys like Mulan I think it's really underrated a Disney movie and it is number 36 and these are fall at the numbers are but places very happy as you know since number 36 and so yeah let's head into an unboxing of this you can have a look at the back have a look at the inside have a lot what the special features are so here is Mulan I really like this front cover personally you know it's really nice and I'm happy with that very nice and here is the spine of course we have the number 36 there on the side which you know I love a lot you got moving on there there we go let's take a look at the back now I really like the back as well we've got this a nice like blossoming tree thing in the background I think and we've got two images there we go little description and then these are special features here we've got the audio commentary and deleted scenes classic backstage Disney artist journeys Throwbot to film design production Matchmaker meets Mulan classic music and more but she seems like a really good you know set a feature so I'm definitely looking forward to checking this out I have been doing special features spotlights on the Disney movies which basically you know watching the features talking through them so I definitely be having a special feature spotlight on each of these that we got unboxing here and these are just especially British specifications you wanna read those there hope you can see this ah okay well I'm sure that's that's okay you can kind of see but yes there we are there's Mulan now let's open her up oh and of course the blue disc there it is I'll see you all and of course you've got your Disney movie rewards so there we have it okay so the next one that I picked up with Mulan it's one that I haven't actually seen well I must've seen it when I was younger my cuz house I don't really remember and think about it all and it is the whole track of the Hunchback of not you Dom now this is what I'm really I'm looking forward to because you know it's obviously I don't know how close it is to the actual story or anything like that abide I like that I don't remember scene and in my opinion I would have said I've never seen it but I currently have one I wrote it also yes um a real important Cena so I know a lot of people will be like oh I already seen that but yeah it just happens to be one I haven't seen I've seen mostly Disney classics I haven't seen this one so yeah really looking forward to I definitely have to pick this one up just simply because I've not seen it and this one is actually number 34 that's really cool thank you closer look at this one and unbox it now we have hunchback of notre dam which is very very nice cover I really really love this one this looks really nice this is another thing that really drew me to this one just looks good beautiful okay we've got 34 and I'm a classic there's Esmeralda see I know her name how does it start hunchback and um there we go and here is the back which again is really nice it's a nice purple color we've got some little guys there and there we go but we only have two features on this one I've got the making of Hunchback not Schrom and then a guy like you music like oh no sorry I'm wrong a guy like you multi-language real trying to eat for the cameras never good and there are the specifications sodium and sometimes Dutch and French on this one so let's open it up BAM there we go blue this hunchback much done got a little border though going on there and it's muir woods so hunchback much done bluey okay now the other two Barnett I'll freeze I got this first one is again one I haven't seen so yeah I definitely have pips when I burn I didn't actually know it was in the off at I saw it so I definitely grab this one and it is the rescuers yeah I never seen this one obviously how it's in the sequel either yeah so the rescuers I don't really know how to say about it cuz I've not seen it I could say but this is not my 23 definitely I'm looking forward to a lot of people really quite like this one but I just don't know it just passed by me but my mom has a big fear of mice and rats and stuff so I think maybe she just really didn't fancy watching this moment I joined it no I don't know why but that's my theory but yeah she does really like that's a little Great Mouse Detective so who knows you know I just obviously you know I didn't see this one but I will now so I'm very excited let me know your thoughts on this ones down below and I'm looking forward to seeing this one so yeah let's take a look inside at the back and all that good stuff in the unboxing no rescuers okay so there is the title there are the two main guys I guess and some bird again you know I haven't seen this so I don't actually know who is who here there's any Michael who's a little girl there and some other person see ya again not sure when a crocodile two tiny heroes one big adventure number 23 and this is the back here which is very nice and we've also got 23 here which is strange but yeah so we've got the little description picture another picture and then these here are our bonus features we've got people it's the delicious song three blind mice Mouseketeers silly symphony I'm gonna make it short like I read today water birds are what Disney true-life adventure someone's waiting for you sing-along song discover blu-ray 3d with Timon and Pumbaa so ya don't know what this really has to do with blu-ray 3d but you know ya might there we go oh and specifications are where are they oh that Turner they're right at the top there the specifications on this one like you subtitles me and that if you want to know that let's open it up haha of course oh this one has a little border too so there we go at least is that a blue disc collection this may be it was say there we have the rescuers and last but not least we have the fourth animated classic this is what I've been mean to pick up for ages this one Pinocchio I've been like I put them on my pillow I never do I still need to pick up Pinocchio and it is Dumbo the 70th anniversary edition I'm sure everybody has this one I just I've only ever seen or I only remember seeing bits and bobs at this I've seen the whole thing but I only remember bits and parts so now looking forward to watching the whole thing with you know knowing what's going on remember in it oh no I like saying it's the fourth classic and everybody seems to absolutely love this one of course it's a proper proper classic one but yeah I don't remember a whole about it so it doesn't looking forward to this I'm like this pack I've got right now because I don't remember a lot of them so it's gonna be all fresh and new and good stuff like that but yes let's take a look at the back of this one and see what social features it's got and all that good stuff and finally of course we have Dumbo the 70th anniversary edition really like this cover it just looks really nice but I'm sure you've all seen this a million and one times but yeah here is the spine of course it's number four one of the early Disney movies there is their Dumbo on the back okay so we've got some pictures they've got a description more little pictures at the bottom these are the specifications there we go and bonus features we have let's see we can get a good shot yeah bonus john-boy everybody in today's video I am going to be answering a question that I get more than any other question that I am ever asked collectively in any subject matter ever and it is how do you rent Disney Vacation Club points and is it worth it so I'm answering that question today this is gonna be easier to explain to you using screenshots from my computer so we're gonna go do that I'll do some voiceovers and I'll come back here and catch you at the end Disney World has lots of different hotel options on Disney World property and there are lots of perks of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort you get access to extra Magic Hours you can park on site for free you can make your Fast Pass Plus reservations 60 days in advance so there's lots of different reasons why you would want to stay on Disney property and by renting Disney Vacation Club points you have all of those same amenities all right so when you're considering where you want to stay at Disney you know there are the value hotels which do appeal to kids they're pretty low relatively speaking price point but if you want more space and better location for the money renting Disney Vacation Club points is the way to go so there are lots of different Disney Vacation Club properties available at the Walt Disney World Resort so this is a list of all of them that are in the United States so obviously Hawaii we're not gonna talk about right now go on so we've got Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort you can literally walk to the Magic Kingdom or you can take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom or to Epcot which is very convenient there are two options available at wilderness lodge they have Boulder Ridge and copper creek copper Creek is the newer ones that are there that also have cabins that are absolutely beautiful and those are a boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom you've got two options at Animal Kingdom villas you've got jumbo house and Kidani village these are next door to Animal Kingdom park but you do have to take a bus or car and then we've got to the beach club villas and the boardwalk villas these are attached to the backside of Epcot or the front side of Hollywood Studios so you can take a boat ride or you can walk to both of those parks old Key West and Saratoga Springs are two of the original Disney vacation club properties and they are ride up boat ride away from Disney Springs which is like a shopping area of Disney used to be called Downtown Disney we've got the Polynesian villas and bungalows and that is right a hop skip and a jump away from the Magic Kingdom via a boat ride or a monorail ride you can also monorail over to the front side of Epcot and then we've got the villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa which are just like the Polynesian a boat ride or a monorail ride from the front of the Magic Kingdom or a monorail ride over to Epcot so the first thing to consider with picking a Disney Vacation Club property is the type of party you're traveling with so if you have small kids and you know that you're gonna be at the Magic Kingdom a lot I would recommend a hotel that is on the monorail loop because you can just hop on the monorail and get right to the front of the Magic Kingdom SuperDuper easy if you're somebody maybe it's an adult trip and you're not gonna be spending a whole lot of time at the parks but you're probably gonna spend more time at Disney Springs I would recommend ODE Key West or Saratoga Springs I'm just because they are super duper close to Disney Springs or if you got animal lovers you know Animal Kingdom villas those are great choices so it kind of just depends on your travel party for me we love Epcot Epcot's my favorite Park so we oftentimes gravitate towards Disney's boardwalk villas now you can see this is Disney's site here and you can see on the right hand side where it says rooms from 16 points per night 14 points per night 15 points per night so the lower the amount of points per night the less expensive the hotels are going to be so for example here we've got Jambo and Kidani Village points from nine points per night boardwalk is from ten old Keywest I believe is lower – yeah points from ten per night Saratoga Springs is 11 and you can see it starts to get a little more expensive when we're going with the more upscale hotels like our Grand Floridian 17 points per night and up so that's something to kind of keep in mind the amount of points you're going to be renting is basically the amount of dollars you are going to be paying all right so once you figure out where you want to stay that is the number one most important thing now we have to figure out when when do we want to stay and you can figure out when by looking at the vacation club point charts all right so this is a great website this is WW infocom i'll have all these links in the description of this video so I'm gonna look at the boardwalk because I love the boardwalk we've stayed there three times and it's a fantastic resort so you can see here on the left-hand side there are different seasons and this is basically from the lowest time of year with a ventured season from a crowd standpoint to the most busiest possible time of year which is like the thick of Spring Break and Christmas to New Year's this is the most popular time to visit Disney going down to the least crowded time at Disney and you can see the points reflect that too so if we look at a standard view deluxe studio villa at the boardwalk you can see during adventure season the weekly amount of points you would rent is seventy six right if we look at the premiere season the weekly points it's almost doubled right 150 points so it definitely goes up if you're gonna be going during a busy time of year so if you can at all swing it try to get down to Disney when school is still in session but if that is not an option you know you just work with what you have so what do these different room types mean so we've got deluxe studio we've got a one-bedroom we've got a two-bedroom we've got a grand villa let's take a look at them so a standard you know just normal studio Villa basically looks this so it comes with a queen size bed and a pull-out couch also has a kitchenette area with a separate sink so the kitchenette will have a microwave it'll have a mini-fridge it'll have some cabinets and things where you can put some stuff tickin store if you want to also has an ensuite bathroom as we would expect a couple of closets and a balcony now most of the rooms are around this size for a studio villa around 356 square feet which for a normal sized type of hotel room I mean that's a pretty good size the the exception to that would be old Key West old Key West is the original Disney Vacation Club property and the rooms there are a bit bigger but outside of that the rest of the properties are gonna be around the same size for a studio villa so we also have the option of doing a one bedroom villa this is the Grand Floridian example but it's all about the same really so the one bedroom villas have a separate single bedroom with a king-size bed rather than a queen-size bed the common area will have a sofa bed and some of them will have a pulldown Murphy bed like underneath the television also will have a full kitchen and will have an in suite washer and dryer which is so convenient I'll have a couple of closets and of course an attached bathroom some of them will have two bathrooms or a bath and a half depending on the villa and they all again have balcony and they kind of go up from there you've got a couple of other options with like a two bedroom room you've got a three bedroom Grand Villa you've got tree house you've got cabins like lots of different options so depending on the size of your travel party is where you want to go so my husband and I historically have stayed in a studio villa just the two of us and it's been fine plenty of space I would say you could probably fit four in there max comfortably I wouldn't go any more than that same idea with a one-bedroom unit you can kind of see the difference here so this right here is a 1-bedroom at Animal Kingdom so you can see that there's a full kitchen the bedroom is back there separate eating space and common area so you do get you know probably about twice as much space as you would have if you were to get a studio villa I hope that makes sense so you just kind of have to know you know how much space do you want for your family if it's just the two of you a studio Villa is great unless you want a kitchen which is where my husband and I want to be we want to have a kitchen when we go down to Disney the next time so we're gonna opt for a one-bedroom Villa but you know you just kind of have to decide that on your own so going back here to the boardwalk we are going to just do a little scenario here so let's say we want to stay at the boardwalk the first full week of December and that is 76 points for us for a standard view for the week if we wanted to have an upper scale view we could do a boardwalk or a pool view and that significantly increases the amount of points that are needed for that rental you can see it's 107 for a deluxe studio here at the boardwalk versus seventy-six so you just kind of have to keep that in mind if view is important to you and you really want to look over that boardwalk you can go with a hundred and seven points per night however for us we don't care about the view as I don't whatever doesn't matter to me so I'm opting for the seventy six points per night but this is you know we're just gonna kind of go with it here so let's say I want the first week of December and I want to stay in a deluxe studio at the boardwalk that's seventy six points so I'm gonna write down that number 76 on a post-it note and now I can figure out how to actually do the rental process so if you want to do the legwork yourself I recommend one of these two websites Dizz boards comm or Mouse owners comm both of these websites are great you do have to create a free account to be able to interact with the people you're renting from but you know that's fine that's fine it's super easy to create an account for both of these websites I have used both of them to rent points from they both been great so I'm going to use the mouse owners comm website just as an example here because I don't have to be logged in to see what I want to do so I'm going to look on here and see if anybody is renting boardwalk Villa points for December look at this this person is dare to dream 2009 is renting 221 boardwalk Villa points for $15 per point alright so if we go back to our chart here how many points do we need I want 76 I need to rent 76 points from this person so at $15 per point let's see how much that's going to be so for a week at the boardwalk in a studio Villa 76 points for the week times $15 per point is 1140 dollars so if I want to figure out how much that is per per night I'm gonna divide that number by 7 that's a hundred and sixty two dollars per night for staying in a studio villa at the boardwalk the first week of December so if I were to look over at Disney's website to see how much it would be to rent this same exact room from Disney World I actually already have it pulled up I'm cheating they want on average four hundred and seventy three dollars per night for a deluxe studio a standard view in December alright let's look at our calculator again so renting points I'm paying a hundred and sixty two dollars per night getting it from Disney I am paying four hundred and seventy three dollars per night so what is the savings on that I mean that's pretty substantial I mean that's over half savings by going this route and if you think about 160 some dollars a night that's pretty standard for like a big downtown type of hotel room right and you're getting such a great value out of it from a how good of your vacation is going to be standpoint staying here staying at the boardwalk versus staying at an off-site hotel somewhere when you think about if you stay at an off-site hotel you're gonna have to factor in twenty two dollars a day to park so you're already going to increase the amount you're paying per night at an off-site hotel adding twenty two dollars to that just to get to the park itself plus you're not going to have the perks of the extra magic hours and being able to make your Fast Pass reservation 60 days in advance and making your dining reservations 180 days in advance and all of these things you have to think about so it just makes sense so what I would do if I was going to you know talk to this person here from a privacy standpoint I'm not gonna open up their their link but what I would do is I would contact this dare to dream 2009 and say hey I want to stay at the boardwalk in a standard view studio from December you know first through you know whatever the 7th 8th whatever that first week is Saturday to Saturday it's 76 points there's two adults staying in this room can you check and make sure this is available for me they would get back to me say yeah it's available and you can say ok I want to go ahead and rent it and then you would do the transaction with this person via PayPal all right so you're not actually doing anything with Disney they are making the reservation for you in your name they will then email you the confirmation number you can tie it in to your Magic Band my Disney experience account they will send you magic bands it'll it's just like having a normal reservation through Disney except the person you're renting from does the reserving of the room for you ok so if you didn't want to go through this rigmarole of finding somebody to rent from through either Mouse owners or through Dysport you can use a broker to do this for you now you're gonna pay a little bit more per point per night because they're getting paid for their time for doing this reservation booking for you they're kind of like the middleman between you and people that are renting points but David's vacation rental says an amazing amazing job they are I believe they're based in Canada and their customer service is so nice and so helpful you can do live online chat with them and they can answer your questions and you basically just fill out a form and they do all the legwork for you so that's just another really viable option if you don't want to take the time to actually find an owner to rent from yourself now here's something to keep in mind when you're doing your your Vacation Club rentals you actually these rentals are non-refundable alright so when you make your reservation you just need to be set that you're gonna be going to Disney and if there is a possibility that you might need to cancel your trip you'll definitely want to get travel insurance so the website that I have used for my travel insurance in the past has been travel insured International we've had really good experience with travel insured we had to cancel our trip in in September of this past year because of Hurricane Emma and so we had to do a claim with travel insured but we got 100% of the non-refundable cost of our room back from travel insurance so I highly recommend if you have medical conditions if you have any possible reason that you might need to cancel your trip getting travel insurance in addition to renting your points it's not very expensive I think for the entire week for both my husband and I total it was under $100 to have this and just having that peace of mind was very very helpful for us and we did need to use it we had to cancel our trip because of circumstances that were out of our control so we've actually had to do that twice now we've had to cancel our trips twice now and travel ensured his come through for us both times so I can't recommend them enough [Applause] thank you guys so so much for hanging out with me today I hope
