what are you guys doing here hi I know I haven't been around in a while but just so you guys that don't know for my new subscribers my name is Jeff and this is living pork and I was just gonna sit down take a look at my coupons and stuff but I thought I have so many new subscribers lately and asking all kinds of questions I know I've answered a lot of these questions before I know a lot of my friends who coupon and have channels have answered a lot of these questions but you know there's new people all the time so I thought we'd go back to basics and things have changed and I have been running low on some stuff I still coupon here and there I don't do big deals and stuff anymore that's why pretty much that making videos on couponing hauls and stuff but you know there's a lot of new people so I thought you know maybe I better get back to basics and I guess the first thing you need is your coupons when getting your coupons you want to try to find a a newspaper that has your coupons in it for the best deal so I found a place where I can pick my newspapers up for only a buck fifty and get them next thing you want to do is you need to to newspapers so you have two sets of coupons and when you've been couponing a while you'll understand that but the bigger your family the more coupons you're gonna need but for a beginner start out with two even one would be fine but start with two because you have to learn to coupon first get used to using your coupons flipping through them and seeing what coupons are ones that you're gonna use and stuff so that you get a feel for it but start off slow and I think that's the biggest problem with a lot of people is that they they try to do these big deals if you've watched any of my videos you've seen some of the bigger deals and stuff and I tried to keep my hauls fairly small even though you didn't see and I didn't show like massive hauls the really big ones I did them but I didn't really like to show them because I don't want people to get frustrated and I still see it people getting frustrated with couponing it's not extremely hard but it can be time-consuming and that's why I try to show shortcuts so I'm gonna leave a link in the description make sure you check out my other videos I've done I put them in a playlist so you just turn it on and watch them learn all that you could learn and then start couponing but now and even myself I need to go back and start reading the coupon policies for the different places that I coupon at and every store is different just because it's Walgreens and they have a Walgreens couponing policy you need to learn your Walgreens where you shop and find out which Walgreens are best because I can tell you right now from experience I have four of them just in my town and they are different and I have my preference to which one I go to I actually have one that I pretty much try not to ever go there just because it's such a headache over there the way they understand the couponing to policies to be in this and that so don't get frustrated when watching other people's videos on couponing and how they did it because there's maybe different than yours so always remember that a big thing is when you're new take your time I can't stress that enough do very small deals as possible and I will try to get back into doing that but as most of you know that that follow me and know me and have seen other videos of mine I do have another channel that is the kidses channel we've been growing it and it's growing fairly fast and it's just like keeping me so busy with that and I work a 12-hour shift and I'm up all night you know it's the middle of the night here but to me it's daytime for me because I'm getting ready to go back to work starting on Monday so but if you have kids definitely I'll leave a link to my other channel to the kids channel it stopped that animation we make all kinds of fun videos for kids we open a lot of different toys and stuff like that like I said it's very time consuming my play-doh eggs some of them literally take hours upon hours to make these huge play-doh eggs they're really cool so definitely if you have kids grandkids nieces nephews whatever go on over there and check that out I think they'll enjoy it we have a lot of fun over there Gary just got done doing a big play-doh egg and he was so excited those who don't know my son Gary who had a seizure at a very young age struggles with a speech yet today at 7 years old now so he but he loves doing these eggs and and he's opening these boxes and stuff of surprises and we actually get fan mail from people who have sent us really cool boxes of toys I mean it's just amazing how many nice people Huff they're you know want to give us stuff to open on Cameron so definitely go check that out but anyways when it comes to let's get back to the couponing make sure you read all your policies of your stores and learn your stores again I can't stress that enough either I'm running low on some stuffs but that's why I thought you know I got to get back into this and show the beginners how to do this so make sure you watch all of my videos I put them in a playlist make sure you watch along because from organizing them like a lot of people like to cut them out I don't I don't like to cut out my coupons because most websites most couponers that you're watching like myself we're I tell you what paper it was in and whether it was a smart source of PNG a red plum we're gonna tell you like that and if you cut your coupons then you now you're having to label each and every one of them it's it's very time-consuming and you'll see from there I just show you how to take these and you'll label them into a regular folder and put them into a box is all I use it's a file cheap file cabinet box put them in there and now all I have to do is look up on the tab what month and what paper it is and I'm I can pull out my coupons and look and see now remember not everybody has the same coupons they're very a lot of them can be very regional especially the really good ones and we are here in the North it's ice where we get some of the worst coupons around I know Florida gets some really good ones so if you live in Florida you're fortunate but again we're having a lot of problems with things like that I like to print out a lot of my coupons so let's definitely make sure you check online to coupons calm and stuff like that to get your coupons I just noticed that my store my local grocery store now has a computer base light system that it has smart source or I'm sorry coupons come right on it I can scroll through it pick the coupon I want and it prints it right there for me that I mean that is so nice I don't know if any you guys seen these things before like I said we just got it so very cool another thing make sure you use the smart apps if you don't have a smartphone man they really come in handy for couponing I'll leave a link for the shop kicks is what I use make sure you check that out I'll leave a link for it I get points literally for just walking through a door I get that I can then redeem for money and I've gotten literally hundreds of dollars off of this program it costs me nothing it's a free program it's free to sign up it's everything it's totally free it and it just goes on your phone and like I said you need a smartphone but when you walk into a store like Target especially targets everywhere I have them a Walmart now just started getting them I know our local Walmart doesn't it doesn't work there as far as walking through the door but the other ones that we go through do and I get points for walking in the door then there's things I tamil' to scan and you'll use your camera on your smartphone and scan that item and you'll get certain amount of points for different things and you can rack up points that way so again it it starts adding up quick and I I know I've made other videos on it too where we had like five hundred dollars worth of stuff that I purchased including this phone this phone was with the deals and everything else that was going on it ended up only cost me $40 but it actually did cost me nothing and I bought two of them one for Diana and one for myself it cost us nothing for these phones because I had saved up the points to buy them so really good deals out there so I will be back try to do some simple deals and whatnot but make sure you go check out our my other videos that will get you started and get you going in the right direction on how to coupon and stuff and for your make sure you go check out my other channel with the kids and stuff for your kids I hope you guys enjoy all that and I will be back and I'll see you guys next time at living poor bye guys
In this video I am showing you how to extreme coupon at CVS for beginners who are starting out without coupons!
hi everyone this is Fiona and I am sitting in CVS parking lot right now and I'm going to actually show you a CVS shopping trip so this is a tutorial I'm going to show you if you're new to shopping at CVS what are some of the things you can do I find CVS to be the easiest drugstore to shop at so I'm going to show you exactly what you need to do before you go shopping you should always have a list of everything you're going to get so that way you're not all over the place I do have my list it is right here of all the stuff I'm going to be getting here um I also have a couple of coupons with me but um if you're new to couponing you don't have coupons with you don't worry about it you can still save at CVS you can work on getting the deals that give you the extra care bucks and that's called ec be extra care bucks and that is the money that sprints at the end of your receipt here so here's an old receipt of mine and extra care bucks print at the bottom and they're good as money those in store money but it's like cash except is printed on the receipts so you can use those in conjunction with coupons but if you don't have them you're going in and you want to do some deals you could still do it and still save so I'm going to show you what I normally do when I walk in I may not film at the register because some cashiers freaked out about that but um tours in I'll get back in the car and I'll show you everything that I got um so I'm gonna grab an ad and show you where the red machine is they print coupons from there too you can type in your phone number if you don't have a card so we'll go in and check it out I'll see your everyone inside alright everyone so we are inside CVS and the first thing you're going to do is grab an ad at the beginning of the store then we are going to make our way over to the red machine the red machine is actually right here and you can scan your card and they're in store coupons by CVS right here so you're going to scan your card so here is my card and the coupons are going to print on the side and these can be used in conjunction with your manufacturer coupons if you print offline or also from the newspaper hold on and it prints here so you just pull it out and you look over your phone so let's go and get our items and I'll show you from there okay everyone so we are going to show you how to read the ad and also the shelf tag so I'm going to show you this free item here is the combos it says six point three you pay a dollar fifty you get a dollar fifty back and you can see on the Shelf right there it says a dollar fifty and then you get a dollar fifty extra care book right there okay so you can pick up one of those right there and expiration dates are my stuff so getting a habit of that also alright and here is another deal also um you can get the Starbucks double-shot espresso and also vitamin water it says about $50 50 back so these deals you can get with certainly without coupons and you would actually purchase this one first paying dollar 50 to the dollar 50 by then purchase this one in your second transaction and then give them the dollar 50 extra care but from that to get it for free so that's an example there so here is on the shelf and so you can see right there it's already been labeled so you know hope that helps also alright everyone I have just finished my shopping trip at CVS and this is everything I got for free um you see the vitamin water a little bottle of laundry detergent the trial pack of the CVS training pants trial size of the panty liners Kraft macaroni and cheese um some baby wipes um you see add of Ricci sour patch and combos those are my favorite by the way ok so I want to show you how to do this if you are new to couponing okay so these deals I would say maybe two of them I used a manufacturer coupon but everything else like the the combos and the vitamin water the detergent the training pants a lot of these I didn't have a coupon for but I was still able to get either free or under 40 cents so this is how I did it okay so again this say for instance I mode okay so we're going to okay you see that laundry detergent there that is that right there okay so it's on sale for a dollar 79 and you see in the black there it says you get a dollar 79 that is an ECB or extra care bug okay there is a limit of 1 what that means is that she can only get one ECB per card okay so you can do this deal if you do it twice you will not get the dollar seventy-nine back okay so always check your ad to see your limit on extra care bucks now how did I get everything for free okay so here are my receipts okay so I did the candy deal first and so the Dove candy as you can see right there that was on sale for 79 cents and you get a 79 cents ECB back so I paid 79 cents plus tax and I got the ECB on the end of my receipt okay and this is what an ECB looks like and you tear off your receipt once you're done okay so here is the ECB okay this is what it looks like on the end of your receipt okay that's what it looks like okay so you tear it off and then I bought the Reese's it was 79 cents okay so I paid for the wreath I got the receipts for 79 cents and then I turned around and paid the gist of taxes on it and let's see if I could find the receipt okay here it is there so there's the Dove I did I actually did to get it backwards but either way both of them were 79 cents so you see the Dove is 79 cents then I used the ECB for 79 cents and that was from the Reese's and I paid the taxes on it so you get it for 5 cents so the Dove is actually 5 cents okay so when I got the deed of with the Dove also got an ECB bag that is called rolling ECB's you can roll and do several different transactions and roll your ECB's to each transaction you take your ECB ease and pay for your next transaction you can do several transaction if there is a line please step aside and let other people checkout and then you can proceed with your transactions but many many couponers we do several transactions it's very rare if we do just one unless you know we have a bunch of coupons and then we can kind of check out from there but in this case I did several different transactions and to prove it to you here all the receipts you see all that all of those receipts and I may had and they were pretty busy so I had to step aside maybe like twice but these are all my receipts okay so out of pocket for the taxes and some things I spent about three dollars and 63 cents for everything but I got back more ECB's for my next shopping trip and they're here I have four on that receipt so pretty much free so the ECB's is like money okay except it's not green and it comes on the end of your receipt so this is how you shop for free and the key also is when you go to your next shopping trip whether it's this week or sometime in the future before those ECB's expire your goal is to purchase more things with your ECB's that will produce more ECB's for you and for instance I'll give an example if you have existing ECB's like I do right now because of all this I've done and you see tide is on sale and tie normally does give you extra care bucks back you can use your extra care bucks and you can use more than just one so I have four on one receipt you can use more than one okay plus your manufacturer coupons you may get from the newspaper or printable coupons on my website and you can also use the coupons that print from the magic machine we call the magic machine but the little red machine that you saw and you can use the other printable coupons that you can get on the end of your see because a lot of times CVS will print coupons on the end of your receipt like this one here two dollars off ten any in asset you can use this coupon with any other antacid or heartburn manufacturer coupons you may get on the website or in the newspaper I would give them this first then give them your coupons manufacturer coupons then you would give them your extra care bucks on top of that and that is how you get your total down to $20 to barely anything so I hope this is clear as everything I know that some people are kind of wondering how to do it because you know they want to see a demonstration so if you have any questions I am on Facebook you can follow our Facebook group if you're not a part of our group look up the coupon boutique group arm and your search for on in Facebook and I will talk to everyone soon and I'll have another tutorial for you everyone soon bye bye

meet Jordan Cox the 16 year old has got bargain hunting down to a fine art the teenager is part of the craze called Extreme Couponing before I started couponing I did not have a care in the world what I spent on anything I just picked up off the shelf and walked out the store but now I will not buy anything less if it's on sale or got a coupon he spends an hour every day scouring papers magazines and websites for vouchers and deals and he's made huge savings for his mom Debbie Jordan an only child began thinking differently about money a year ago when his parents separated I just really wanted to help her any way possible I could and I found it through couponing i think Jordans brilliant with his coupon e he's saved us so much money we've been able to afford bit holidays where we probably wouldn't have been able to normally most mums teach their sons about money but he teaches me how to save money in the past nine months in a supermarket alone we should have spent one thousand two hundred and twenty pounds sixty eight and we only spent six hundred and fifty four pounds and 4p saving five hundred and sixty-six pounds sixty four well it's amazing Jordan omits there is no maths whiz prefer in English and drama at school but he's got bargain hunting down to a tee some of the best ways to find coupons are either online on certain websites you just click a button and you can print them out or even like contacting manufacturers by saying how good their products are or if you've had a problem with the product they usually send you coupons in the post Jordan omits bargain hunting isn't a passion shared by his friends my friends at school aren't very savvy at all they do take the mick a few times but when I got to uni I'll have all the money in the world I'll know what to get the supermarket and when they go broke they won't come crying to me now Jordan is teaching Debbie how to be an expert bargain hunter – he goes on every shopping trip just to make sure his mum doesn't slip up I would not let my mum put anything in the basket that's not on sale or not with a coupon so it's quite strict because now I'm the man of the house so I have to enforce it as well as teachings mum Jordan holds talks in his local town hall teaching adults how to save their money he's made his own money saving Facebook and Twitter site to give tips to others every day I get so much praise from people about how much I've saved them and how much I'm actually helping them so it's quite it's quite humbling that I've actually started something up that's turned into this great page currently studying for his GCSEs Jordan is unsure what he'll do in future John's always been a sensible boy anyway but he's taken responsibility for the budget yeah very proud to be Jordan could soon be given finance experts like Martin Lewis have run for their money
