Damn In ROTC My Instructors showed me a video which you are watching and I got so Motivated to do more in life and not waste time. So I looked it up on YouTube and Downloaded and Reuploading it on here. I hope some of you get touched by it.

I don’t own the speech or the music (Band: Explosions in the sky)

Eric Thomas is a motivational speaker, author, activist, and a minister. Here is an awesome speech he gave to a group of students on the secrets to success.

Speech:

There was a young man, you know, who wanted to make a lot of money and so he went to this guru, right. And he told the guru you know I wanna be on the same level you are and the guru said if you wanna be on the same level I’m on, I’ll met you tomorrow at the beach.

So the young man got there 4 A.M. he already to rock n’ roll. Got on a suit should of wore shorts. The old man grabs his hand and said: How bad do you wanna be successful? He said: “Real bad”. He said: Walk on out in the water. So he walks out into the water. Watch this. When he walks out to the water he goes waist deep and goes like this guy crazy.

I wanna make money and he got me out here swimming. I didn’t ask to be a lifeguard. I wanna make money he got me in — so he said come on a little further — walked out a little further — then he had it right around this area — the shoulder area — so this old man crazy — he making money but he crazy. So he said come on out a little further — came out a little further, it was right at his mouth — my man, I’m not about to go back in this guy is out of his mind. And the old man said: “I thought you said you wanted to be successful?” He said: “I do.” He said: “Then walk a little further.” He came, dropped his head in, held him down, hold him down, my man (kept scratching) hold him down, he had him held down, just before my man was about to pass out, he raised him up. He said: “I got a question for you.” He told the guy, he said: “When you want to succeed as bad as you wanna breathe than you will be successful.”

I don’t know how many of you all got asthma here today? If you ever had a asthma attack before your short of breath S.O.B shortness of breath, you wheezing (breath sound) the only thing you trying to do is get some air. You don’t care about no basketball game, you don’t care about what’s on T.V., you don’t care about nobody calling you, you don’t care about a party. The only thing you care about when you trying to breathe is to get some fresh air. That’s it! And when you get to the point where all you wanna do is be is successful as bad as you wanna breathe then you will be successful. And I’m here to tell you that number one, most of you say you wanna be successful but you don’t want it bad, you just kind of want it. You don’t want it bad than you wanna party. You don’t want it as much as you want to be cool. Most of you don’t want success as much as you want sleep. Some of you lost sleep more than you lost success. And I’m here to tell you today, if your going to be successful you gotta be willing to give up sleep. You gotta be willing to work with 3 hours of sleep — 2 hours of sleep, if you really wanna be successful. Some day your gonna have to stay up 3 days in a row. Because if you go to sleep you might miss the opportunity to be successful. That’s how bad you gotta (inaudible).

You gotta go days without — LISTEN TO ME! You gotta want to be successful so bad that you forget to eat. My ( ) said say, once she was on the set doing her thang, three days had gone by and she forgot that she didn’t eat. Cause she was engaged. I never forget, I went, 50 Cent was doing his movie, I did a little research on 50 and 50 said: that when he wasn’t do the movie he was doing the soundtrack. And they said: “When do you sleep?” 50, and 50 said: “Sleep, sleep is for those people who are broke. I don’t sleep.” See I got an opportunity to make my dream become a reality. Don’t cry to quits. You already in pain, you already hurt. Get a reward from it. Don’t go to sleep until you succeed. Listen to me, I’m here to tell you today you can come here and and you can jump up — you can do flips and you can be excited when we give away money but listen to me, you will never be successful, I don’t have to give you a dime if you ( ) You won’t be successful until you say I don’t need that money cause I got it in here.

Only The Strong Survive.
so if you want to make six figures you can't just be talking about you want to make six figures you hear what I'm saying you tonight if you do the three things I tell you to do tonight I guarantee beach I said I'm gonna make money I don't want to swim who said if you want to make money I'll meet you tomorrow 4:00 a.m. so the young man got there I am here already to rock the room got on the suit shitty wore shorts the old man grabs his hand said I'm bad you want this except he said we're back he said one thrown out in the water so he walks out into the woman watch this when he walks onto the asthma attack before he sure to breath and so beat shortness of breath you wheeze it the only thing you trying to do is get some air you okay – get ball game he'll get what's on TV you don't care about nobody calling you you don't care about a party the only thing you care about when you're trying to breathe is to get some fresh air that's it and when you get to the point where all you want to do is be successful as bad as you want to breathe then you'll be successful and I'm here to tell you number one that most of you say you want to be successful but you don't want it bad you just kind of want it you don't want it badder than you want a party you don't want it as much as you want to be cool you most of you don't want success as much as you want to sleep somebody loves sleep love success and I'm here to tell you today if you're going to be successful you've gotta be willing to give up sleep to be successful something you have to say every day in the world go to sleep you might miss the opportunity to be successful that's how bad you gotta work you gotta go daddy's not listen to me you gotta want to be successful so bad that you forget to eat I said I got an opportunity to make a dream become a reality football players how many football players not anybody like football in here raise your hand here I like football Emmitt Smith I used to be a cowboy fan before they did my boy Tom Landry wrong I used to be a cowboy fan and watch this there was a commercial Emmitt Smith had won his first Super Bowl he had this commercial he was lifting weights I love you saw the commercial he was lifting and he said he said Emma said you know what I won the Super Bowl so I can rest not here doing this bench press play he said I want a super rockin rest night so he throws all about 325 boom and he grants for about two seconds boom just see that he'd already wanted to party so I think I'm gonna take a rest and he went spy how long one second most of you won't be successful because when you're studying and you get tired you quit I'm here to tell you today if you got it somebody came to my office the other day crying I said look don't cry to give up cry to keep going don't cry to quit you already in pain you already hurt get a reward from me don't go to sleep until you succeed listen to me I'm here to tell you today that you can come here you can jump up you can do flips you can be excited when we give away money but listen to me you'll never be successful and I'll have to give you a dime to do what you do you won't be successful until you say I need that money cuz I gotta be here but listen to me Emmitt Smith said this at the end of the commercial Emmitt Smith said all men are created equal some work harder in pre-season imma send again because you ey check it out I made a video..

7 tips for how to get the most out of Oslo on an extremely tight budget. My girlfriend and I just had an awesome time there, budgeting £50 for 4 days, which in Norway I don’t think is bad at all… (unfortunately the national gallery recently removed free entry on Thursdays so that will be an extra 120 NOK if you still want to go)

I’ve since been away backpacking for 5 months, vlogs soon:

The free no-commission/inter-bank exchange rate worldwide card that I mentioned budgeting with is www.monzo.com #notspon (update 2018: monzo now has £200/month free abroad withdrawals with 3% fee after that, still the best deal around)

Total £50/4 days = £12/day, plus £18/night cheapskate accommodation 🙂

so me and Molly just got back from two weeks in Scandinavia which included four nights in Oslo and while it's such a beautiful place it's every bit as expensive and I'd seen a lot of Oslo on a budget videos before I went out there but I don't feel like anybody really like got to grips with how cheaply you can actually travel if you put your mind to it I mean people mention things that restaurants still want a budget video which i think is just ridiculous I mean meal for two and also could easily set you back save fifty pounds and I mean we each tried to spend fifty pounds while we were out there and although the whole time which works up to about 12 pounds a day and we were successful scrimping that much so I'm gonna go through seven ways you can save money while you're in Oslo so the first tip is relevant as soon as you land as soon as you get to Oslo gardemoen Airport there's going to be these people with nice shiny uniforms directing you to these machines where you can buy tickets for airport transfers but all the nice branded ones are full this company called fly to get or fly Target or something and that costs eighteen pounds to get into the city centre whereas if you just go with the norwegian national rail service that costs nine pounds to saving nine pounds already my second tip is to go outdoors I feel like if you did all the things that get like huge ratings on TripAdvisor if you did the natural hist museum cruises around the fjords the Vulcan Museum the Viking ship Museum and the National Gallery you're not really gonna remember any of all that time I mean you're in one of the most beautiful countries in the world and on all those attractions it comes to like sixty pounds plus whereas like all the things we did without doors and I feel like I remember them a lot more I have much fonder memories instead of doing all those things for like 60 quid we went island hopping in the oslo bay which was just crazy beautiful probably the best views I've ever seen and the boat ride to get to those islands which is included with the Travel Pass how much better is it going to be just cause you paid thirty quiz to go on a cruise on like some special boat whatever we went to a lake whose name I'm not gonna pronounce but I'll show it here and that was just amazing got some really nice photos and had such a nice peaceful day there and we went to a bunch of parks and gardens we went to the Oslo City Museum and we went up the Opera House and that was totally stunning and all of those things I've just mentioned come to a total of zero pounds so we spent nothing attractions compared to spending all this money on the big tourist stuff I just don't see why you do that when the countryside is right there and it's free the third thing I want to say is don't buy the Oslo pass that's such a ripoff everything you do outdoors is going to be way more unique and the Oslo pass if you spend all that money you're just trying to justify the price by going to museums and attractions all day every day the pass itself is 72 pounds for three days so I mean if you're trying to scrimp as much as we were you're already over budget and like you can't even feed yourself or anything so it's just a total ripoff and they try and say oh but you get discount at restaurants but that's totally irrelevant if you're trying to go cheaply I mean a 50-pound meal turning into a 40 pound meal isn't that big of a deal because you just can't afford it and anyway Oslo is small enough that you don't need a Travel Pass every day and that leads on to my full tip which is to just spend half an hour on Google Maps before we go and group your transport days and you're walking days so you don't end up doing like one thing where you need the tube every day instead of doing three tube things in one day and only buying one 24 hour to pass you can save a lot of money that way just by grouping you're walking and your transport days the fifth and probably the thing that saved us the most money is to go private room on Airbnb don't get a hotel or anything where you can't cook for yourself but equally don't get a whole house where it's gonna be super expensive what we did was we got a private room in somebody else's place and they're really nice but I mean we were out the whole time so it was just somewhere where we could save money by not having our own place and also save money by being able to cook for ourselves and not going up to restaurants I mean I can't believe so many of the guides mention restaurants and things when all that money you could spend you could just be cooking for yourself we put a little bit of effort into finding out what the cheapest local supermarkets are in each place we went to at a supermarket called Remer 1000 we were able to feed ourselves for those four days for less than 20 quid each I mean which is less unlike one meal in a restaurant for that whole time and that included like buying booze and we only took carry-on luggage so we had to buy like toiletries and stuff in the first place we went to and considering a beer can be like 9 or 10 quid just save a ridiculous amount of money I mean I don't think you can really say that we're traveling on a budget if you're able to like eat out drink out in Oslo tip number six is a really really good one that will apply wherever you go in the world is to get a card called Manzo and not sponsoring this I'm sure there are other alternatives but this works for me it's a free prepaid card which you managed by an easy app on your phone and then you can spend that anywhere in the world with no fees no Commission on the exchanging and you get the interbank exchange rate for free so the one that comes up when you type in to Google to try and convert currency you get that rate for free every time wherever you are in the world so that's really handy anyway but especially like on this trip where we did three different countries you don't want to budget this many Norwegian kroner this many Swedish Krona so we just had a card where we put money on in pounds and we could spend it in any of the three places without having leftovers and my final tip is more of a philosophy for when you're traveling just be a cheapskate I mean we could so easily have spent like two quid on water in Oslo whenever we got a bit thirsty but we're really careful to carry a reusable bottle with us we would like buy postcards and not buy stamps and just send them when we got home they have this thing in Scandinavia where the cans and bottles it yet from supermarkets you could take them back to the supermarket and get a really small amount of money from them but I mean we were always really careful to do that because then you basically are getting free food from the supermarket pouches that you get even though it's a small thing you just have to you know put in the effort and the research to really scrimp and save it and research can also help you in ways like where entrance to the National Gallery is a tenner we found out you go for free on a Thursday so we were able to do a premium touristy thing and go see The Scream for free and saved like a whole day's budget basically for us think things through and don't like buy into touristy convenience is the final thing is we if you break down our costs for a private room in someone's house that we got on Airbnb we were only spending 18 each per night which is just crazy cheap also considering we were still walking business everything more details about the place we stayed are included in the full vlogs which show lot all the stories of doing the outdoorsy stuff that I said was so great and hopefully prove how good that is compared to just like going around loads of museums and also please comment if you can think of anything else to really cheap to get also because what really well me up before I went was watching these videos another or you can't leave Oslo without trying this sort of food and I think of all that we like half my budget is crazy so yeah if you feel the same of this video helped you please comment or leave a like or something thank you so much I'll see you next time when I make this same sort of video about how we did Gothenburg so cheaply

If you thought that replacing your old vinyl main awning was out of your league as a Do-it-Yourselfer, watch this first and you just might change your mind!

We know that a lot of people are afraid of “The Spring!” on an awning, but under the personal guidance of Tough Top Awnings owner Ray Oberreuter, we saw how the whole process was really manageable.

This install is for a Dometic A&E patio awning.

We purchased slide topper replacement fabric a few years ago from Tough Top Awnings. When we opened the box, it was immediately obvious that it was superior to the original fabric (double-stitched, very tight weave and noticeably thicker) and also less expensive than OEM replacement material. Their main patio awnings are no different. Excellent quality at a great price.

Ray was very responsive when we had questions during the ordering process and he obviously takes pride in making a superior product at a lower price. When we decided to replace our bedroom slide toppers last year, it was a no-brainer to order from Tough Top Awnings again. You can get more details by visiting their website:
